Ann Chovey can you feel the tilt when you’re up inside?
@gauntlettcf5669 Жыл бұрын
@@lordvader3538From what I've been told, you can feel it front the start. The thing had been designed to stand up straight up to a portion, then they noticed it was tilting, so they tried to correct the tilting, and ended up making it even more tilted lol. So I think you can feel the tilt all the way, frm the bottom to the top! (Of course, it's much scarier from the top)

I went up it before it was closed to visitors for several years until the increasingly dangerous lean was stabilised. At that time you could walk out at each floor from the spiral staircase. There's only pillars holding up each floor and the floor slopes down. No safety rail or anything to stop you falling off. I've never been so terrified! Now there's steel railings stopping any access plus high safety mesh on the roof railings. I wonder how many people have fallen to their death in the past?
