@@JewGotit Awe thanks Leah how sweet are you?! My name is Neisha and it's funny, my Father converted about 20 years ago unbeknownst to me (my parents divorced when I was young) which is so nuts lol. We've never been close but I've reached out to him about this recently and he's agreed to help me so I'm moving back to Canada this summer to make it happen❤️

Hi Leah! I just found your channel not too long ago, and I'm in love! Your vibe, your family, your art, your shining heart and great humor... I love it all and I'm so glad I found you! I love the other Orthodox gals I follow, but I think you're the one I would be most like if I were to live an Orthodox life (all the colors, the music you use, I'm definitely a hippie lol). Anyway, thank you for being you and showing us a slice of your life! Chag Shavuot sameach!! 💜💜

@Jew Got It Aaaaaaaa shalom!! My name is Kat. 🥰🥰 I'd love to see more of beautiful Eretz Israel! Living in the mountains in the middle of nothing sounds amazing to me lol. How easy/difficult was it adjusting to life in Israel after coming from Cali? I live in Indiana currently, but once my conversion is complete, I'm seriously considering making Aliyah. Do you ever worry about your and your family's safety with all the mishegas going on there? That's my biggest fear about living in Israel. 😢 Thank you so much for responding!! I can't wait to see what you do next! 😍 Shalom v'ahava 💜💜

Question - what happened to bialys instead of always being bagels. After having a bialy I just cannot go back to a bagel.. (I think bialys made their appearance in the early 20th century which makes them a new comer to the Jewish food scene. No idea when bagels made it on the scene ). Do you ever make bialys ?
@JewGotit Жыл бұрын
I agree I love bialys more than bagels! I had them for the first time in nyc. With just butter yum. I’ve never made them before, really great idea to try and make them. Many blessings to you !

I've been following the 7 laws of Noach since 2015.
@JewGotit Жыл бұрын
Wow that’s incredible. Where did you first hear about it ?
@ourmodestfamily Жыл бұрын
It's a long story, but will try to cut it short. I started to study the bible from the beginning, as the Church tells you to study from John. This made me question a lot as there were contradictions. I then found out that the Romans and Catholics miss translated the bible from Torah, and added and took away scripture to suit themselves in order to create a Messiah, yet I knew Hashem, said not to add or take away from His word. I found out the day of rest was changed from Friday to Saturday evening a to Sunday starting in the morning , that Easter was a Pagan holiday celebrating the pagan goddess Eastre, the goddess of fertility, hence the bunny rabbits and eggs etc. The bible tells you that JC was born during the feast of tabernacle, which I found out was during September to October, so JC would have been around 3 months old by December not a new born so another contradiction. it snowballed from there. I finally came across the 7 laws of Noah. I contacted my local Rabbi who invited me to the Shul. From there I found out that I could accept these laws and observes them, therefore become a"Noahide. I am hoping to declare my acceptance of these laws in front of a rabbinical court.
