The Lee A. Tregurtha is a Lake freighter built in 1942 currently operating for the Interlake Steamship Company. Sailing southbound on the St. Clair river passing underneath the Blue water bridge in Port Huron Michigan. She is 826 Feet in length and can carry 29,360 Tons. IMO number 5385625. This Footage was filmed 11/6/23.

Yup! I believe the oldest freighters/barges in service goes as follows, St. Marys Challenger (1906) J.A.W. Iglehart (1936) St. Marys Conquest (1937) Pere Marquette 41 (1941) Alpena (1942) Lee A. Tregurtha (1942) Cuyahoga (1943) Wilfred Sykes (1949) (Others) CTC No. 1 (1943) - Currently awaiting scrapping. Joseph H. Thompson (1944) - Scrapped 2023. McKee Sons (1945) - Layed-up since 2012, it failed it's haul inspection and needs a major overhaul in order to operate.
