April was a busy month for me, so I haven't had as much time to make as much content as I'd like. I was going to release this video a bit later, but it's one of my simpler videos, so I thought I'd just get it out earlier, especially since my last video was a bit more complicated. I have a few more theories I really want to share, and one of them will be out a lot sooner than you'd think.

Also in his Character Profile he talks about instead of turning the tables in one moment, its better to rack up small victories along the way - the man is building rapport with BOTH Yozora and Sora - he KNOWS something

Luxord being from Unreality honestly even more

I'm speculating that Luxord is related/linked to Cor Leonis... Actually that's not entirely accurate. Being specifically a link to the Versus 13 version of Cor Leonis would be more accurate. It would also link him to unreality as Versus 13 never came into existence. I suspect much to Nomura's sorrow. It appears that seeing aspects of Versus 13 showing up in KH is a sort of coping mechanism to reframe that traumatic event in Nomura's life where Versus 13 was left cancelled/changed and his and others creative efforts seemingly wasted. Instead of V13 characters and concepts being left in the unreality of the human mind and never breathing life in a material "vessel", such as the game V13, they were gifted/revealed to have a greater preordained "fate" to actually breath life within KH ultimately, not V13. The way the V13 characters are integrated into KH as fated to best serve KH and it's continued growth as an epic metastory instead of FFv13, I speculate, is seen by their creators (Nomura et al.) as always having been the best outcome for their creative hard work for FFv13. This all points to the idea that Kingdom Hearts is Normura's metastory interpretation of the Jungian model of Human Consciousness. Using his own life story as a creator, concepts within dreaming/psychology and story products (Disney/SE), and adapting them into an epic metaphysical drama to give his own model/interpretation of human consciousness. It's pretty inspiring I think. It's filled with loads of cheesiness, sure, but I find KH to be a brutally and beautifully honest expression of ones Self similar to another Japanese work, Evangelion. A side thought. If there is a massive simp for C. G. Jung in Nomura then the abundance of trios makes sense. While the Trinity was an important symbol in Jung's life he theorized that the concept of the quaternity is more meaningful and a more accurate description of human consciousness. As the fourth component that makes the quaternity, you, the worshiper/player/Interactor, are necessary to account for the key self awareness/experiential aspect of human consciousness that just the Trinity symbol doesn't sufficiently model. The Spirit of we the players (as meta as that is, but Nomura gonna mothaf*cking Nomura) is what lies beyond the entrance to the Kingdom Hearts. As such, the collective love of our hearts for what amounts to a celebration of human consciousness and its true child, storytelling, within the vessel of a game series is the source for Lux.

This is why I LOVE Kingdom Hearts, the story is more multithreaded then people realize, I've always loved serious that force people to sift for clues just for the sake of fun, giving people the sense of mystery makes them want to know more. Every time they find out more, things connect and make more sense but in turn unlock more mystery's. If you've ever wondered why people compare Kingdom Hearts to something like Metal Gear, this is why.

I've been a bit unsure about the placement of these two outside of Missing Link and Dark Road. I was certain they'd appear in UX but since they didn't, there's only those two games to go off. I'd reckon Demyx is in Scala somewhere, maybe someone who we will meet will become him later. Luxord I was thinking similarly, but yes, he does seem to not be connected much to Demyx and Luxu doesn't know him so that seems to rule out Missing Link.. Though of course something could happen to explain it. Then there's him being in Unreality.. Ehh very weird. But I like your suggestion about him being from an ancient ancient time like the Master, that'd actually be very interesting.

Great video man! Here's the thing about Demyx, play around with the idea of unscrambling his name, and then using Google translate. That's the most we can do with him at this point. I saw some interesting things when I translated

My only guess about Demyx is that he's the equivalent of Versus XIII Prompto. He looks and acts pretty similar to FF15 Prompto. In the Verum Rex trailer we only see 2 people fighting with Yozora that seem to be unreality equivalents of Ignis and Gladio. I believe death in unreality can put someone into the KH reality, so possibly something happened to Demyx before the events of the Verum Rex trailer to put him into the KH reality and causes him to create a Nobody. As for his name, my guess is Medy because he's music themed and it sounds similar to MIDI, and maybe there's a connection to his water abilities and "remedy" but that's probably a stretch.

I like the "Prompto" one, Demyx could be "Magia" from Verum Rex (Prompto + Ardyn).

I'm pretty sure it's NextGen's channel that has a really good theory talking about how MoM parallels Ardyn very well. It'd be cool if Prompto ends up being the unreality Ardyn, but so far I agree with the theory and like MoM better for that. Though as this Luxord video points out, it'd be strange if both Luxord and Demyx are from unreality but act like they don't know each other, especially if they are Cor and Prompto's equivalents. They could always explain it as memory loss or that it's part of their plan to act this way, but that would be a little lame.

I actually haven't done any videos about MoM parralelling Ardyn funnily enough, but I actually have had that same belief for a while. Lately I've been going over some Versus and XV stuff and the parralels are certainly there so I completely buy into that idea

Oh you're right. I'm thinking about a video from the channel Sonny Novus. If I remember correctly, their video also gets into some mythology and even gives a couple good guesses of what the MoM's real name could be.

@@musubi8885 In FFVs13, Ardyn's role is unknown (Nomura knows). In FFXV, Ardyn at one point disguised as "Prompto" to confuse Noctis (villain). In KHVR, the 2 characters beside Yozora- Magia and Aegis- looks like Ardyn and Ignis. I find it interesting that Nomura choose Magia looking close to Ardyn instead of Gladio or Prompto (FFVs13 group with Noctis), while maintaining Aegis as Ignis lookalike. What's the reason for such choice by Nomura if FFXV Ardyn is a villain to Noctis? So, Magia is a sus to me. If Demyx looks like "Prompto" then Demyx is a sus one because of his relation to "Xiggy" (Xigbar-Luxu) in 358/2. I have a feeling Luxu and MoM messed up Yozora. The hint I guess is Magia (Ardyn lookalike) betrayed Yozora (Noctis lookalike). Demyx might be Magia (Prompto + Ardyn) but who knows really. Luxord is a mystery to me. I don't think he's Cor or Aegis (Ignis) but who knows. Luxord drives the car, seems close to Yozora and has an accent like Ignis. Still, I'm not sure who he is. I saw the MoM is Ardyn theory from Sonny Novus. But... why Ardyn? In Fabula Nova Crystallis lore, God Bhunivelze (Light) is the ultimate antagonist. Somnus song, the whole "eye" thing, "fate" thing- all ties to Bhunivelze's desire to terminate darkness, create a new world and control people's fate (FF13 Lightning Returns). All Bhunivelze need is "hearts" because he can't see them. Also, it's interesting that I think Nomura (or someone in Square Enix) uses Kingdom Hearts lore in creating Fabula lore. They're similar somewhat. Anyway, I'm open to all theories and not kicking any, hehe. At this point, Kingdom Hearts to me just don't make much sense 🤣🤣👍 I blame Nomura.

I suspect that hearing how the wielders crossed over to a fictional world at one point, that Luxord is one of those. A wielder from Scala, specifically the Victorian era Scala he would fit right at home in, and he is among the wielders that crossed over into unreality. Further more Scala seems like it was largely evacuated by the time YX arrived, he seems like he taken out in that evacuation. My guess? Scala was emptied due to a crisis and Demyx is the last child of the main family, that is to say he is Ephemera’s last descendant and Xehanort believes Demyx’s bloodline might be a key. I wouldn’t be surprised if Xehanort despite his age is from Victorian era Scala to. How? Worlds move at different time flows and don’t start moving till they are completed. My guess is that time didn’t move at all or moved much slower in DI so for a long time Xehanort didn’t age or he aged super slow. Until DI was finished being rebuilt at which point time flow proceeded as normal and he started to age normally unaware that outside his tiny worlds hundreds of years had passed in scala.

I still like the theory that Luxord is Player who somehow ended up in Quadratum, but this presents a really interesting theory. I feel like Luxord knows of Luxu quite well, or at least the Black Box, but he doesn’t look the way he did when he knew Luxu. Player and Luxord also share similar quotes if you look at KH Wiki. I imagine Player and Luxu will interact in ML. Alternatively, I do like the idea that Demyx, Luxord, and Elrena are reincarnated hearts from the past who knew MoM but are in new bodies now. Kind of like Player’s reincarnation in ML.

Reading about Luxord some more, scouring for details, he controls the gambler nobodies, and controls the attribute/element of time, that alone is fitting to all of this. What if Luxord is the light? And he’s been using his time powers to manipulate the timeline/going back and forth in time to make sure things turn out the way he wants ? Maybe he needs to get to quadratum? The place with no light or dark or whatever it is, but can’t, like his body can’t be sustained there because he is light? I dunno, just theorizing 😊

I think luxury was a key lade wielder who chose when he died to go into another heart. And that heart could be in quadratium. But his nobody was running around hence why he can be in both places

Also if Luxord is sick and tired of authority, in quadratum he would be underneath Yozora. Maybe luxord will free Sora from Quadratum and undo Yozoras plans and try to stop Mom. Hence luxord also giving sora a wild card in kh3. Also the master of master talks about the false light, is he talking about sora, Luxord or luxu. I think we will see Luxord vs yozora or luxu in the future for sure... Also there is the theory Odin is disguise for someone as well.

You said that there isn't anything that seemingly ties Luxord and Demyx together other than that they are enigmas. There is one thing that does tie them together though. It's kind of odd, but it is kind of interesting. Their weapons, a Sitar and Cards and Dice. Their weapons aren't things that are normally used for combat. They are used for entertainment. Zexion's Book could also be brought into this I suppose, but I believe his Book or Tome is moreso to represent a spellbook rather than a novel. A spellbook could be used more so for combat purposes. With that said, Luxord and Demyx's weapons are the only weapons like this. Everyone else's weapons are exactly that. Weapons. That doesn't answer where they might be from of course, Unreality/Quadratum, Missing Link/Scala ad Caelum, or from before the Age of Fairytales, but it is a way to tie them to each other in however small a way.

I've seen people mention before how their weapons would link them to Quadratum because they seem like things you'd probably find there, like Demyx would play music there, and Luxord would be gambling/playing card games, which I do actually think is a good point, and what you're saying is also relevant for a similar reason. It's funny you mention Zexion because there's a theory he's MoM since he uses a book and MoM's main weapon has arguably been the Book of Prophecies. Not sure how likely that is to be true, but in terms of your comment it sort of links the three together by using the weapons. Even if you count Zexion out, I still think what you're saying is a good point and one I overlooked

@@NextGenNovelist Doubt Zexion or Ienzo is the MoM lol. As for Luxord and Demyx being from Quadratum because of their weapons, I'm not saying that that has to be the case. I mean, I guarantee gambling happens in The Caribbean (Liar's Dice for instance), but that doesn't mean that Luxord is from there. So, I don't think there weapons specifically would point towards them being from Quadratum, but it would tie them together. Also, in the order of the original Organization, Demyx is Number 9 and Luxord is Number 10 so they were recruited one after the other. Small connections. I wonder if there is anything in Days that could connect them in anyway.

Another thought. We’re getting a lot of Norse Mythology in KH these days. Lodur is a god from that pantheon, though an obscure one. He created the first men and might be another name for Loki. But Ludor is Latin for ‘to play, game’, so that is very fitting as well.

Ah Demyx…a true enigma. I mean he clearly has a past with Larxene and yet he never appeared in the mobile games which debunked the theory that they are siblings based on their interactions (which feels a lot like siblings bickering plus their shared eye color). If they aren’t related then why does it feel like Demyx and Larxene knew each other in the past.

I wondered about that too after KH3. Larxene doesn't like anybody expect for arguably Marluxia. But she seems almost excessively hateful towards Demyx. It can't just be because he's a derpy musician. There is something going on there.

Her body language is a lot like that of an exasperated older sister when she’s around him. If they aren’t siblings then why does Larxene act like she’s an exasperated sibling?

There is a problem with thinking that Luxu knows everything. And that is...How many times has he body hopped? Luxu himself says that he has done so countless times. However if he was watching Scala that doesn't really make sense. We now have a fairly good guess as to how long Scala was around. There are four generations before Brain gets to Scala. Eraqus and Xehanort are likely born about two generations later, and then there are one or two generations until the present day wielders. So we have about ten generations give or take, from the time of the age of Fairy Tales to the present. Luxu has been in Braig for over ten years, maybe longer, and it doesn't feel like he is feeling an itch to body hop. Luxu is smart he can count over ten bodies/lifetimes. And Generations tend to be a lot shorter then lifetimes. So if Luxu has been in countless bodies, either he was changing them every week or so, which doesn't fit with his use of Braig's body. Or he was in a completely different timeline which was going much faster and so he needed to body hop more. Seeing as MoM outright tells Luxu to leave Daybreak Town right before it is completely destroyed. I think it is very likely that he doesn't learn about Scala for a very long time. Maybe even until after Missing Link, or Luxu finds out in the middle of Missing Link. Luxu just not being there might also be why the No Name's eye is shut. Either way I am positive that the Black Coat in the ML trailer is not Luxu because he gives No Name to Brain(?) and doesn't hold it again until the end of KH3 according to his reports and his words in the scene where he gets it again. By simply holding the No Name, I don't think that Black Coat can be Luxu. As for where he was? A timeline outside of Scala, which either gets reconnected to Scala in Missing Link, or in DR. So because I think there is a possibility that Luxu just isn't around during ML, I also think that this might be the prefect time for Luxord to be from. It would even make sense why Xehanort knows how Luxord is connected but Luxu doesn't. Now if it turns out I am wrong and Luxu is a part of Scala and is just doing a lot of body hoping. Then there are several cities worth of wielders in ML's time. Wielders that are likely going to abandon Scala right after the birth of Xehanort and maybe Eraqus. It would be fairly easy for Luxu to miss a few wielders. He is only one person and he can't see everything. He really isn't as all seeing/knowing as everyone makes him out to be. I could also see Luxord being a citizen of Unreality. What I think is happening is that there are three worldlines/timelines/realities that have been at play for a while. There is Unreality which MoM seems to have been in. There is Scala. And there is the World outside of Scala, where Luxu has been. The World outside Scala likely even had it's own wielders and characters like Yen Sid, Merlin, and the Fairy Godmother who are all hinted at being wielders at one point but don't seem connected to Scala at all are also from that worldline. Then something happens in either ML or DR which makes the Scala Worldline and the World outside worldline crash into each other. And this will likely foreshadow Reality and Unreality doing the same in the present day story. As for Demyx. I do have some thoughts about him. I personally think he is one of the better options for being the True Dandelion. You know if the True Dandelion isn't a not yet born heart that is sent into the future so that they can't be born until much later. A present day born character we have seen as a child and is likely now a teenager. Anyway one of the interesting points about him is that he doesn't fight in the Graveyard. Either Xehanort of Luxu don't want him to fight. I can think of two strong reasons for this. One Xehanort, has a plan to give Luxord(?) Elrena and Lauriam back their memories. This is why they are fighting, and why they didn't get their memories back when Sora recompleted them in CoM/KH2. Demyx is carefully taken out of the likelihood of remembering. Two Demys is important to either Xehanort or Luxu and they don't want him to possibly get hurt in the KH3 war.

My bet is that Demyx will show up in Missing-Link, given Nomura was pressed about him and said he'd rather just show him in-game/story. I've no doubt Luxord is the driver in Quadratum. Same voice in Japanese and English, so he's accounted for to that extent. Meanwhile, I think Demyx is part of the societies in Scala, likely a co-worker of Sigurd, who got his japanese voice debut as the narrator recently.

I think Luxord is from KH Missing Link then used the arc to travel to Unreality, I think Demyx is from ML as well

I never considered someone being one of MoM's old comrades! It would certainly be an interesting possibility for demyx and/or luxord. Though it would then beg the question: how did Xemnas/Xehanort know about their Keyblade legacy? Does he just have a way to sense it about them? Or could he have information about MoM's youth which is what set him on his path? It's definitely a possibility since he seemed to know about unreality and presumably about large swaths of the Master's plan. Also you wrote in the video that you thought "Ludor" had to be his name because it fit: what do you mean by that? I personally came to that guess back before the end of KHUX, because "Ludor" means "I am played" and it was my theory that he was the KHUX player, but that theory's been debunked now, so I'd be curious to hear your thoughts about why you think that name's still viable.

The definitions I've seen for Ludor say it means "game", or some synonym of that. That's way too close to his nature to be a coincidence. Literally his whole personality until ReMind has been built around the idea of games, including his fights. The only issue with it is that their original names usually start with a different letter than their nobody name, but idk it's way too perfect but maybe it's a red herring. Also about Xemnas/Xehanort knowing, I'm not sure, but I'm assuming Dark Road or Missing Link might explain it, because Xehanort is originally from the old Scala, so he may learn something about them in relation to that. Bare in mind he also meets the Master so there's probably a fair amount he knows and does that we've yet to see, including how Xemnas recruited Demyx and Luxord

To your question, Demyx's real body being Luxu seems unlikely since Demyx and Luxu (Braig/Xigbar) exist at the same time, but I guess if something happened to Luxu to create his nobody in the form of Demyx then maybe? Luxord being Sigurd however is possible, although I'm more thinking Demyx would be Sigurd if anything. Interesting thoughts, I always struggled to settle on a strong theory with these two. But I'm truly interested to see how this mystery surrounding their identities plays out

Yh we know Luxord ain't his original name and it's probably Ludor or something but I gotta say you might be onto something with the "Lux" point. I guess his original name wouldn't work for that but it does seem a bit too coincidental especially cos Nomura is making him and Luxu directly clash.. I can see him knowing the Master or something. And yh he might be a driver too but that can't possibly be the ONLY thing he is cos he's got too much going on with him now to just be a chauffeur. Good video anyway man
