Had no idea this existed! Great video, man. Also, big horror fan here, Combs is a staple in the horror genre. He was also in another film called From Beyond. Funnily enough, both were directed by Stuart Gordon, stared Barbara Crampton and were adapted from H.P. Lovecraft stories.

I've heard of "From Beyond", it's on the watchlist. Also I didn't mention it in the video but the actress who played the grandma was in one of the 100 children of the corn sequels, also.

This is certainly one of the movies of all time. I have to say, the shredding scene is pretty awesome though. Just wanna clarify a thing here, I'd say about 99.9% of commercial films made in the US and around the world use shell companies (often named using the prod title or working title) when possible in a LLC or LLP structure. For the LL, meaning "limited liability". Even big prod cies like Marvel movies will do that but prob with incorporations. There's an old saying that goes "movies never make any money". That's why. Either the film generates plenty of money that goes in that shell company and is spread to investors, or it doesn't and the shell goes bankrupt and pretty much nobody is "liable". An interim financing bank then might foreclose on the debt and start suing people if there's value to be gained.

Kinda amazing that the movie got the legendary Jeffrey Combs. But he does make a LOT of schlock. Still love him though. The guy that plays the father/inventor was also pretty great in the episode of Psych where they homaged Friday the 13th. So another sort of horror connection. This movie looks kinda forgettable, but at least it looks like a real movie. A TV movie, but still not the worst TV movie.

I originally had a running joke throughout the video that Mackenzie Astin, Jeffrey Combs, and Mirelly Taylor were blackmailed into appearing in this movie but it felt sort of mean spirited so I left it out. They're all great actors, so weird to see them in this direct-to-DVD bizarre ass movie.

@@MediaPastimes yeah i won't hold it against them, probably isn't even the worst thing on their iMDB anyway. I'm sure they probably had fun. If i ever see Jeffrey Combs at a comic con i'll have to ask him about the movie, see if he at least enjoyed meeting wee man (Though will probably ask him mostly about Star Trek since played so many different characters on the various star trek series, probably more than any other actor. Gotta love alien makeup. Reanimator and From Beyond are great too, but i'm more of a sci fi fan, and he's done phenomenal work there)

Jackass stuff became niche after the dust settled on Forever and 4.5. So nobody really cared about the concept of this video by the time I dropped it. Still had fun making it though. Thanks!

Wee man before Jackass was a pro skater something that I learned when watching him on Steve-O podcast it doesn't really surprise me seeing Jackass spawned from skateboarding videos that got more popular because of the intentional failed stunts between the skateboarding segments

Couple people in my neighborhood nearly went to jail because they had open WiFi without password protection and someone found out and downloaded a ton of CP. Think God the FBI was able to realize the time it was done was when nobody was in the home and the people weren't very Internet savvy. The FBI was nice enough to tell me that my girlfriends password to our WiFi was just the word password and was to easy and she needed to change it immediately and did. But the FBI showing up at your home and saying we need to speak with you about your internet, I seriously almost had a heart attack on the spot trying to remember if I had done something wrong.

He could have been contemplating jumping off the roof to see how high he could bounce. Or the plot of the movie could have been that. It wasn't a joke so much as a throwaway, if he hadn't effectively HAD to say "JOKE" soooo vehemently I wouldn't have noticed. You have every right to feel however you feel. Maybe grow a pair though, makes life easier

@robertprice5243 My father ended his life when I was 14- it took a long time for me to be ok with jokes surrounding the topic. People make jokes about horrible events. It's much easier to find peace with it than getting upset everytime someone makes light of a dark situation.
