Sounds like a whole different song and I love how it loops back around! That part at 1:30-1:52 is amazing, Heck the whole song again its that good! And LoD is my all time favorite game also and one of the earliest inspirations as a kid to be a musician. I recently made a Darkwave-esque version of Major Boss battle 3 which I called the remix Ancient Grudges. It's also inspiring and awesome to see and hear another individual's passion for music through their music. Your cover is incredible!
