Skies of a Strange Land is what plays in my head when I think of Cold Steel. The same way Secret Green Passage is what plays in my head when I think of the Sky games.

I don't care hoe better the other Cold Steel games are overall. Cold Steel 1 has the best soundtrack ot the tetralogy IMO (though all 4 games have fantastic OSTs)

Dang, I don't think I even heard the part where the spanish guitar kicks in before, that caught me for a loop. Shame this song doesn't play in more parts of the game, while the other highway songs were good, this one was always my favorite and one of the reasons why I kept trying to get back out of trista in between field studies when I was playing lol.

Haha xD it's because IIRC the game doesn't have it and this is a OST edition only I could be wrong though it's been a while but I do remember the OST version of this song being different than game ver.

This song plays in 3 of the 6 main chapters (1,2 and 6). Where would you want it to play? It would have made no sende for it to play in the Nord Highland, Heimdallr had no routes, just dungeons, and given the mysterious nature of Legram's surrounding, it would, once again, make no sense for it to play in Legram's highway. Heck, I'm surprised it even plays on that route outside Roer (pleasantly surprised, mind you) This song is my second favourite overworld theme (after Land of Blue Skies, the Nord Highlands theme) but I think It played in plenty of places.

My favorite overworld themes are themes that impress me the very first time I ever lay ears on them. This is one of those themes :) So captivating. Honestly, I just needed a game to play, and heard good things about Trails of Cold Steel, so I picked it up on Steam. I don't regret my decision one bit.
