I don't use turbo as well.. Since i can pay attention to the AT bar properly and atleast plan ahead.... I did this with Randolph Orlando,(Randy's uncle whoch has the S-Craft that literally can wipe your whole party)in nightmare.. main idea was that Always have tio S-brwak using the S-Craft that gives absolute guard and arts reflect before randolph's casts his S-craft and if Tio doesn't have enough CP i use lloyd to cancel the S-craft by doing an S-break.. Btw Lloyd is good as an Evasion dmg in that way you can take advantage of the damage and evasion stats

Also once you have most of the powerful quartz in the game like.. the final Impede quartz that give you 90% chance to cancel the opponent's s craft

The strat I used on Hard was just to bring Tita, use her Orbal Gear and then just keep punting Cassius away while I spam buffs and shields You see the thing is that Cassius has no arts, and most of his crafts are melee based, meaning he has to get in melee range, and Tita can push him just far enough away to where he has to waste turns moving into range to use his crafts, it was total cheese but also pretty hilarious

This is about the same on normal or nightmare, which is rare. The strategy is exactly the same, the only difference is the time needed to win. Pretty rare for that to happen.

Not really. That's just applying a nightmare strategy to normal mode, which is something you can always do. Normal mode is far more forgiving on damage and lets you do a lot more things. You don't actually need to use Earth Wall

I won't lie I managed to beat Cassius the other day on nightmare and it was tough as hell having to ensure I had the buffs up including earthwall so he wouldn't insta ko or cripple everyone. Like man the celestial balm is a godsend as well as using cyclone napalm. Tbh if there was something funny it was wearing ninja tabi and Cassius missing his basic melee attack 😂

Is this fun? There seems to be no skill involved. You abuse the mechanics and constantly spam max guard and simple crafts. Sky 1-3 is just a bad game gameplay wise.

The "skill" in turn based rpgs like trails, is to prepare your party, give roles to characters, prepare the equipment and skills acordingly and then use them at the right times. You choose the Arts and Attributes for every party member etc. Most of the work is done before the fights, the rest is adapting to unusal enemy attack patterns. And with those things sky did a pretty good job. Especially on nightmare a single mistake can lead to instant KO.

How did you manage to get so much speed points stat on every character? By this point I have around 90 to 100 speed points on everybody and Cassius always go first and obliterates me. Do I need to lvl up Mueller too so that his support bonus increases even more?

I use a set of equipment called the Kitty armor which have a high speed stat and multiple copies of Fool's Emblem, which grant +40 SPD each.

@@FryMario55 thank you for answering! I thought maybe because I'm playing on hard my speed stat should be a lot lower than on nightmare but when I've looked at all other stats of your characters they're weren't that different from mine which got me confused.
