In other words, this version of Rean is from the normal ending of Trails of Cold Steel IV where he sacrificed himself. During these events, Ishmelga's thoughtform and Rean fought for control, eventually twisting and merging with each other until a new personality emerged - a personality with control over the perfect completed form of the seven Divine Knights, Zoa Gilstein.

Notice the orchestral track that is reminiscent of Cold Steel 2's final battle OST "E.O.V", Reverie is going to be incredible, with Rean having the clock eye and artificial Divine Knight, along with Crossbell turning into a battlefield (again). Very excited.

Not saying things will loop back on themselves, but in the original Dragon Slayer: Legend of Heroes 2 (back on the PC-98), the god of that world turned out to be a computer AI designed to control everything by the ancient civilization (who turn out to be actually really tech savvy). In this game (Reverie), it is implied at one point that the form that the grandmaster appears in (as a silver haired lady) is not her real form, so my bet is that she is actually some form of computer, who may / may not also be Adios.

In 2014 Japan was ahead by 6 games (Sky SC/3rd ~ Zero/Azure ~ Cold Steel 1/2). 2015 - 4 games (Sky 3rd ~ Zero/Azure ~ Cold Steel 2). 2016 - 3 games (Sky 3rd ~ Zero/Azure). 2017 - 3 games (Zero/Azure ~ Cold Steel 3) 2018 - 4 games (Zero/Azure ~ Cold Steel 3/4) 2019 - 3 games (Zero/Azure ~ Cold Steel 4) 2020 - 3 games (Zero/Azure ~ Reverie) 2021 - 4 games (Zero/Azure ~ Reverie ~ Kuro 1) 2022 - 4 games (Azure ~ Reverie ~ Kuro 1/2) And by the end of 2023, they'll be ahead by 2 games (Kuro 1/2). Rean's VA sounds a little off at 0:50, but sounds more familiar at 1:20. Does anyone know if it's the same actor from Cold Steel? Hearing a different voice for a character I'm so invested in would distract me to no end.

@@GhOsThPk on the one hand the EN localization team do much much more than CN team: the quality of EN translation is much better and more importantly the EN edition includes a complete EN voice while CN edition don't have CN voice as the CN players prefer the JP voice; on the other hand the official international editions of Kiseki series(ignore the ancient sora era) is a late phenomenon, and as Kiseki series is unexpected popular in CN(due to some historical reasons idk) Cloud Leopard(the company for localiztion and publishment of CN edition) choose to follow the newest JP edition (since Cold Steel/Sen Ⅲ) to fulfill the need of CN fans for a official CN edition of the newest titel(and the old ones are already unofficially translated by the community and are widely used) while NIS choose to release the EN edition of the previous titels first as stories of them are very important for the current titel then catch up the JP edition gradudally

It's so frustrating and it does not make any sense, since the translation of Azure (and Zero too) was already done by the Geofront... This wait is ridiculous, we will never catch up at this point, seems like we are still in the early 2000, today i see indie devs translating their games to a dozen of languages and Falcom one of the oldest devs in history can't have worldwide release ready by launch.

Could be referring to the fact that they're all going down different paths? I mean, look at the different routes - Lloyd's route centres around Crossbell alone, Rean's route goes from Ymir (Where he mentions the ogre power "still being there"), to Heimdallr (The scene with Class VII VS C's group), to Nord (Because... war has been taken there, I think? Based on what Gaius said in the trailer), and then there's "C", who's group is near enough always on the move (This is just speculation though, I've only watched the first segment)

They updated the engine to run on PS4. Believe me it looks better than PS Vita. This is also the last game using this old engine. The next 2 Trails games and Ys X are using their new graphics engine.

No, it's not the same at all. Archeozoic Big hole was, in all likelihood a machine translation. Trails to Walk is a localization, and conveys that there are multiple paths (trails) to follow. Cross system doesn't convey that. Granted I wouldn't have capitalized the W in walk.
