The Legend of Ilya Part 1

This is part 1 of the Legend of Ilya. I tell the story of how i met Ilya, how he ended up on the street, and how we became friends. There's a movie about Ilyas gf Arielle that you may have heard of it's called "Heaven knows what". I also introduce some new characters that i haven't mentioned before because they play a part in this story. In part 2 I'll explain Ilyas death and the circumstances around it which were a bit strange.

I live in Miami, FL. I pass out food to the homeless. I make sandwiches and put them in bags with crackers and other snacks. I remember at the beginning I gave a bag to a person and he asked for "another one" for his friend. I thought for sure it was for him. I gave it to him. And saw him walk over to his friend that was passed out on the floor and he put the bag under his arm.

I really enjoy the stories you have , basically the the story of you're life ,my life seems boring it seems I probably could have done more to improve my life , I'm 56 married have 4 children and own my own home but I have to say I have struggled to get where I'm at , I got hurt at work and have 3 back fusion surgeries I'm on disability now still married we still struggle some what but otherwise everything ok now ,I've never done heroin but I was addicted to oxycontin due to the doctors giving it to me after my surgeries however I've been clean for about 2 and half yrs now I used to take 15 or 20 Roxy's a day easy I was like what the hell am i doing my wife told me one day ,"i cant do this anymore" i decided to stop taking pills best decision of my life everything is so much clearer plus I've played guitar since I was 13 its amazing how I can play now ,you think you're ok when you're taking pills but in reality youre not anywhere close to good, anyway great videos stay safe and god bless hope you're doing well now

I just got 1 year 2 months clean off fentanyl methadone crack cocaine and clonopins that was a short 3 year run I had a 11 year run on just roxycodone 15s-20s-30s never thought I would touch that hard shit well let me tell you life comes fast when you get on that shit I've never felt better I had a thousand dollar a day habbit for years trust me it was hell ! This getting sober thing was the best thing to ever happen to me

I did care work for the elderly and a man had esophageal varices. He had a DNR thing. He literally got coughing his guts up one time and I thought he was gonna die on me, I was doing 1:1 I thought crikey should I just watch him die??!! But luckily he recovered and was fine. So fricken scary 😮

Idk 😂😂. I've never been much of a networking type but at the same time it's never been hard for me to make friends. Idk i click with some people but not all people and also i was only there for 1 day. I like how you can feel peoples energies. I was hanging out with a buddy and he was hanging with his buddy , who was a very confident gangstery type dude that the girls melt over these days. I liked him and wanted to be friends he seemed cool but I DID have a funny feeling about him as he always tried to sell me trees and I just always got a bad vibe. It's not hard to see why USA has ended up this way with all these good people Homeless and on drugs and alcohol - nobody should have tried to mix Capitalism with Democracy with no safety net. These are the results. We need to make a movement to stop this. I'm also a Finnish citizen and nobody is homeless or hungry in Finland, it's a Social Democracy. As far as Gary the Mayor goes (I don’t know him), there were a lot of people like him on Grateful Dead tour. They were hippie looking and in nature but had a sharp edge to them. The Grateful Dead scene was massive but tight knit at the same time and they policed themselves pretty well. There were a lot of unspoken rules, particularly around the drug culture. There were tours where some dudes would have sheets upon sheets of acid and wouldn’t take kindly to others who they considered outsiders trying to plug their own doses into the scene. It was so silly and petty but hilarious to watch from the outside. I didn’t like taking a lot of acid during Dead shows when I was touring with them because I was there for the music first and foremost. But when you spend enough time traveling around with a band like that you end up knowing the colorful characters that show up night after night like a traveling circus.
