Being a Kiwi, i can tell you that Kieran Reid is one of the few exceptional All Blacks that could be mentioned in the same sentence as Daniel Carter and Richie McCaw. One of my favourite players ti have ever graced the footy field.

Great player. Great bloke having met him a few times. Had him at my table with Brad Thorn at a Crusaders members dinner in 2009 after he'd just debuted for NZ a couple of months beforehand in 2008.

Deciding moment of the Lions third test. Owens was offside from the final restart. Ref gave a penalty and then changed his mind. Meant NZ lost the chance to go for goal, and to steal the series. Read took it pretty well, all things considered.
