So if my memory is correct, Aang, Momo, and Monk Gyatso are all from the Southern Air Temple, while Appa is from the Eastern Air Temple and Avatar Yangchen was from the Western Air Temple. Also just for continuity on the info dump, obviously Tenzin and the kids are all from the newer 5th Air Temple in Republic City. Everyone else is unknown as of now unless they elaborate on it through the new productions going on at Avatar Studios. Hope that helps as a lore refresher!

It helps me remember the air temples by focusing on the geography. Aang was found in the south pole, he's from the southern air temple, the gaang visited the northern temple (with the "air walkers") right before they got to the north pole. They were in the Earth kingdom (to the east) when he got the scroll from guru patik and went to the eastern temple, they hid at the western temple when the fled the fire nation (which is to the west)

Air nation kai yes, earth kingdom kai no. Once kai had trained with the air benders and he changes then yeah they would be but before hand he's basically the opposite of aang. He's a thief and overly dependant on worldly possessions hence his thieving. But after he changes im sure they would have

Aang is from the southern temple, thats where he trained with Gyatso, the western temple is the upside down one where they beat combustion man, northern temple was where the guy who invented the balloons was, and eastern was where he met the guru
