The "no direction" approach is staple for Point & Click adventures but, also, if you were stuck the "pirates of low moral fiber" were there to drop hints if you spoke with them. It is easy to miss though.

I think that my favorite part of this tall tale is that there are no annoying journals/books. I love reading, just not when I’m playing the game

I get the impression these two have never played Monkey Island before due to how they wernt responding to alot of the Easter Eggs, but... That "Whats that Captain Coco?" Telling people to subscirbe moment was like a line of dialouge straight out the games haha.
