The truth is, most human beings are animals, savages when removed from a society or basic needs/want
Recently I rewatched this movie. I somehow understand Bane more. Some people say Bane suddenly becomes the second villain. I sincerely disagree. We need to go back source materials to figure out what the meaning of "Bane loves Talia". Bane was born in prison. He never saw the light until he full grew up. If you have read Knightfall, you will know in Bane's origin, only a toy bear is his best friend. In Nolanverse, that toy bear can be young and innocent Talia. Talia said Bane loves her. But I doubt it's love between male and female. It's more Bane wants to protect his only friend, The only purity of his world.(Children are always pure and innocent. Another brilliant idea from Christopher Nolan to make Talia a child instead of grown up woman in prison). In this case, Bane will help Talia with his life to be what she is born to be-The head of League of Shadows. But Talia is too inexperienced and too young, Bane is always her father feature. Ra's Al Ghul is dead, so Bane is Talia's only backup. And Bane never let Ra's and Talia down. So it's not Bane works for Talia. It's Talia needs Bane. Talia herself even said Bane is her protector. So behind the mask, behind the whole terror Bane created. It's a man selfishness to protect the young girl he believes it's worthy to protect. He disappears immediately when Talia fully grew up to be a fully independent woman that is capable to lead League of Shadows. In some ways, Bane is a great man, a selfishness man. Only went to the wrong path

Nice compilation, and I loved the twist. I can't see the movie playing out without it since it ties in neatly before Batman Begins and helps bring the storyline of the League of Shadows full circle (I mean come on if they did Ra's al Ghul it's logical to use Talia). In Batman Begins when Ra's talked about his wife and because he never mentioned Talia, in retrospect it makes sense since why he didn't mention Talia since they were estranged. Talia and Bane forgiving Ra's after his death than coming back to finish off Gotham works since they still believe in the philosophy of The League of Shadows and want to fulfill their jobs. In hindsight why Talia wanted to finish off destroying Gorham and waited longer makes sense. She worked for Wayne Enterprises for years and wanted the clean energy project to be fulfilled to help Gotham further, especially after Batman and the police locked up the mob, then only after Bruce (understandably) shelved the project she and Bane decided to use it against him. Add on Bane working for Daggett, a corrupt businessman, and finding Gordon's letter revealing the truth about the Dent Act which lied to the people of the city for years; it all comes together. Since Bane was Talia's protector in the pit and was shaped by his upbringing in The League of Shadows, them working together adds to his character more, it doesn't undermine him in any way. There were clues and buildup to this reveal throughout the film too since Talia was set up as Miranda Tate to be a kind businesswoman who wanted to aid Bruce in helping Gotham, she was a false hope similar to what Harvey Dent was. Christopher and Jonathan Nolan also drew inspiration from the villains of the classic novel "A Tale of Two Cities" as inspiration for Bane and Talia as villains.

@@factsunpopular202 K.B. USA so what your saying is thalia and bane in the dark knight rises are brother and sister? I think of Bane is a legend meaning were not sure what the truth is. And how it was shot made us believe bane was the child. But that would simplify the story to much. Making thalia the child of ras al ghul gives you more depth to the story and the arc between her and bane wasnt fully explained. I believe Bane was more of protector and father figure to thalia. Assuming that bane and thalia were a thing or just a protector of them in that prison helped raise thalia to a certain degree. And maybe ras al ghul developed a deep hatred towards bane for the relationship he had with thalia and thalia saw bane more as a father then ras maybe the real reason he excommunicated Bane. and if n when she found out she and her mother were put in that prison because of her father. Each villain in the dark knight trilogy was not defined by Batman’s shadow. They were resemblance of what horrendous situation that lead them to do what they do. Ra’s al Ghul/Henry Ducard was mercenary that was sent on a task for a bounty but instead fell for a local warlord’s daughter. When he was exiled he understood that the world needed more sense but later when going down to the pit was only greeted by a broken down prisoner called Bane and his daughter. Ghul channeled that emotion and founded a organization to train his sensibility and choice. Jonathan Crane was a child who lived a close to poverty family and one day he was locked down to be experimented on his fear. Fear was the only thing he knew and realized that he needed to make something out of something by continuing to understand the human mind for their chaotic actions by all means. In the dark knight, The Joker didn’t exist until the end Batman began when Batman was at his first testament. The Joker wasn’t given a origin, but most speculated that he was ex military intelligence and partly also part of the bombing team. It was said that during one his experiences he experienced trauma and realized that the world was a place condemn with dangerous acts everyday and that everybody has a price that could be leveraged and turned against them. The day Batman was born was the day that the Joker was born because he sought to find his linkage of his polar opposite but actually they are both the same. Harvey Dent had minor skezaphonria and was often in conflict with his father and one day when his parents suicide during his college years he decided to learn justice and inspire hope. In the Dark Knight Rises, Bane was a man that allied the remains members of the league of shadows and was the one that was to fulfill Ra’s al Ghul’s failed objective, destroy Gotham due to its misguided circumstances. He learned his lessons in the pit and when he joined the league of shadows he merely wanted to foresight and consolidate his position and continue Ra’s liberation. Talia, was a more sympathetic secondary villain. She was born in the pit for actions that he neither complied or committed. She couldn’t forgive his father for his failure in saving her mother and her. She sought to prove her worth and alleged with her friend bane to honor his father the day that Batman indirectly “killed” Ra’s al Ghul.

I like how in Batman's world the League Of Assassins (AKA League of Shadows in the Dark Knight trilogy) are the bad guys. But in Assassin's Creed an almost identical League of Assassin's are the good guys. Granted the League of Assassin's(/Shadows) is more extreme but still it's kinda funny.

It's basically like this: Ra's was a mercenary who worked for a warlord and he fell in love with the warlord's daughter. They got married secretly but when the warlord found out Ra's was condemned to The Pit but Ra's was banished. Ra's found out that it was his wife who secured his release but what he couldn't know was the true price of his freedom: His PREGNANT wife took his place in the prison. She gave birth to a baby girl who she named Talia. One day the doctor forgot to lock the cell and Ra's wife was killed by prisoners. Talia was protected by another prisoner named Bane who soon helped her escape. Talia found her father and brought him back to rescue Bane who had been severely injured after the prisoners attacked him. Bane had to wear a mask to hold the pain at bay. The League took in Bane and Talia and trained them. Ra's rejected Bane because the latter was a reminder of the place he left his wife to perish and also because Bane loved Talia.

As comic book films go in terms of greatness from both dc and marvel, dc...The dark knight trilogy I don't care if people hate tdkr as a trilogy back to back I love it, for marvel winter soldier, infinity war, (didn't like endgame) and civil war best marvel films they produced and I don't think marvel can do better than that, but point is this batman trilogy I just really love it its art possibly more than that, marvel came very close with the films I've mentioned, dam near close but this trilogy would for me be the best comic book films ever.
