Did you play the Jak and Daxter trillogy? I don't think you played Ratchet and Clank or Sly, because they were a lot like these games in the story component, but with more varied gameplay and less technical issues.

Y’know, everybody hated the legend series because it’s “nothing like the classics” I really like the way they transitioned. They moved with the audience. Spyro The Dragon you went around freeing elder dragons from crystals, A New Beginning, you went around doing the same thing but it was presented in a more *deep* way for the teens.

So basically when you say "moved with the audience" it was like because the audience and games those days started to go for a realistic look and add some elements that made the game really amazing. Some examples were this trilogy, Zelda twilight princess, sonic 06 (because when I look at it, the game has a very beautiful and realistic look to it), super mario galaxy, and some other games that you can think of. or am I thinking about something else?

A deeper way of killing monkeys with the B button for 4 and a half hours then for some reason the villain isn't the villain, BUT UR HOT DRAGON LOVER AND YOU ARE THE CHOSEN ONE. deeper aint the word chief it's cliche. :/ the originals were good because there was fun platforming and mini games and secrets galore. this is just lord of the rings x spyro some fever dream that if spyro were not attached to it would be okay. but comparing it to the "classics". it would be like sonic and the black knights, the main character is still there but the world they are in just doesnt fit. sorry gonna have to pass.

This game wasn't bad. It has a strong Story, very good music and solid gameplay. The only minor issue is the performance especially the hard Framedrops on PS3. If they Remaster this game for Ps4 it could be a true gem.

Watching this over really broke my heart. It's so nostalgic, for one thing, but the composition is amazing and the music is otherworldly. I was sobbing through the entire ending with Ignitus and the books. The best level in my opinion was the Destroyer. The favorite roaming/flying parts are the waterfall between the first level and Avalar (what an EXPERIENCE), and the valley of Avalar itself. Ignitus made me cry. Cynder's powers were so cool. Terrador's voice actor is the best in the world. ANTAURI.

43:41 Sparx's best moment. The emotional impact here is real. To me, this scene showed his true colors. This is the point he realized: Damn. I could actually lose him here. 😳😢 Underneath all the jokes and cowardice, he wanted to be there for Spyro till the end. In this scene there were no jokes, good voice acting, Sparx was actually being nice to Cynder. The break in his voice as he said "Hey...its me. Being careful is all I know." Is what got me. That line was so good it hurts. It's also sadder and more iconic when you realize that that was Sparx's final line in this trilogy! GOD, I love this game so much!😭

I don't know what it is with this game, but it just makes me sentimental, wanting to cry, yearning for that magical romantic adventure reality cannot offer... I found no other media that achieved this. The story, the music, the ambience, something truly special is in there for me... It is true that gameplay wise it is not the greatest, Replaying it lately some level design is really eh... But it is still a lot of fun with plentiful brightspots, all around solid. This game has a heart to it, probably the childish innocent youthful wish to be a hero, to experience love and other magical things... I hope that trilogy can be rereleased some day... A remaster that adresses some of the issues these games had could create something truly well... Magical.

This game was pretty beautiful despite the frame rate and performance issues- I just wished that they worked on the species (I forgot their name) that Hunter was. Yeah apparently they had issues with the engine since it was outdated and the colours were messed up by it too, so they had to add an orangey tint to everything which made things too saturated but the character models ended up looking oiley and stuff. But they didn't have the budget to change things and had to make due with what she had.
