I mean really, we don't know much about what was happening in Wildmount during the years of Vox Machina's adventuring. The Assembly isn't known for being soft and cuddly at the best of times, so if they wiped out a few small villages to claim resources, there wouldn't be enough people left with the knowledge or power to call them out for it. All they would have to do is create a narrative that works for them and history would then be written in their favor

Although Percy dies in a similar way in the original story, I just can’t see them killing him off indefinitely. He’s one of the most beloved characters in the show and as we know in DnD characters come back from the dead all the time. Plus there’s plenty of hints to show that he’ll be brought back. The gun glows after he’s shot suggesting Orthax has possession of his soul meaning Vox Machina will have to either fight Orthax or make a deal with him to get his soul back. They revived Vex so they’ll likely do the same with Percy. His body has gotta be decayed some by now tho, I really don’t want zombie Percy lmao. Maybe Pike can heal his body once his soul is returned.

That's also, crazily enough, a reference to early nuclear reactors. I'll try to keep it short and simplified; in a nuclear reactor, uranium atoms are split into lighter elements, but it's kind of random what elements they split into. One of those elements is Xenon, which has a MASSIVE neutron cross-section. Essentially the neutrons they fire at the uranium gets eaten up by the Xenon instead. Xenon "poison" builds up in the reactor, so they have to ramp up the neutrons to keep the reactor from stalling out. But eventually, the Xenon breaks down, leading to a massive surge in power. Fuckin Ripley out here making a magical demon core.

About Pike my theory is Zerxus cursed or enchanted the Dawnmartyr somehow so it actually blocks Everlight's presence or divine magic somehow. Because the whole thing about Zerxus saying her heart will be filled vengeance and doubt etc. didn't really make sense without context. I really believe it wasn't everlight that talked to her in hells either. So this is all part of Asmodeus' plan. We don't know why because Pike's unknown bloodline is completely a new thing from the main campaign. Lastly ofc they can change this but Everlight is the most forgiving god out of them all . She is literally the god of redemption she is always ready to give any chances to people that is her identity but also was her biggest weakness during calamity as well so. It is very unlikely she supposedly doesn't wanna talk to Pike because she went to Hell.
@InfantryWife852 ай бұрын
Ooooo I didn't think about this. My theory after watching the episode was it was showing that Pike's idea that her power and abilities came from Everlight was wrong and that her abilities came from inside her all along, more like a sorcerer than a cleric. Interesting...

Zerxus gave Pike a little token when the left Dis. We don't know what she did with it. Then we see visions of him talking to her in her head. And she healed people with her blood. And Zerxus mentioned "blood so pure" when they did the contract. Then she tossed her Everlight token. Kinda felt like Pike is changing from being a light domain cleric of the everlight to being a blood domain cleric with Zerxus as her patron (since he whispers in her mind, tells her things to do, and she has his little amulet now)

Anna Ripley just went from being mildly annoying to public enemy number one as far as I’m concerned.

4:18 from 5th level your average cantrip damage can full out kill a commoner. And then there’s stuff like fireball and lightning bolt that come into play at that time that can destroy dozens. D&D spells are balanced against the enemies from the Monsters Manual, not against commoners… adventurers vs commoners is a fucking slaughter…
