Vex is animated literally so beautifully and seeing her cry, the way they downturned her bottom lip, the animation is soooooo good!!! And Laura Bailey’s voice acting is phenomenal as usual.

True, but I still think that's CR and the writers rubbing salt on the wound, reminding us that it was Percy who gave her the title so Syldor would be forced to show her respect

Percy's funeral is so sad that I can't help but shed a tear 🥺😢😭🤧 luckily when Vex confr0onted her father after he abandoned her and Vax made me feel better 😁

The next one is like Avengers End Game level entertainment. It's like a finale, but there's still 3 more episodes even after 9. So none of us knows where this is going until we get 10, 11 and 12.

"No... no, there has got to be a way" (about Percy's death). Well, they have stated that the show will deviate from the RPG, but this, this is a big deviation and many long time fans of Critical role are left in the dark and kept guessing at this point. Not even we know where this one is going. :( He might actually be dead for real, permanently. But there are theories out there on how they might bring him back, but i don't want to mention them here. Also, Laura Bailey stabbing our hearts with that stellar acting again, wow!

As a long fan critter i can tell im in the dark but i would say that percy die in the anna fight in campaign (wasnt the same way) cant wait to see where they go. I have an idea how they can ywist the rest bit im in dark and fan since like episode 20 of campaign 1. Will be nice to see and its fun to be surprise

Ya I think Thordak may have known some other way. If Rhaisan had told him that she was a double agent he would’ve killed her. They’ve made a note to mention on multiple occasions that he has become irrational and paranoid. And they’ve shown that he has zero hesitation in killing if needed. At the mere comment “that Crystal makes you paranoid” he went off the rails nearly killing her and giving away her portion of power. He’s paranoid enough that mentioning she’s been talking to them would’ve most likely set him off. And keep in mind, that army is huge. Kinda hard to hide the whole thing. And just because Thordak is irrational and paranoid doesn’t mean he’s stupid. He’s an ancient dragon, he has some sort of wisdom and intelligence and would be smart enough to have a plan set up for this kind of situation.

It is, because Taliesin played a character who died before the CR stream first started, and he decided instead of playing the resurrection route, he'd play a different character (Percy).

The cast have said that the 3rd season is where things really deviate from how things went down from their live game so as someone who's seen the OG im really loving not knowing what is going to happen to a certain extent

Characters do 100% die and leave in these Critical Role Campaigns.. But the question is more what they're doing for the series.. Like his death is 100% very fitting, but its weird to keep out a main cast member for the last 2 seasons (I assume there's 2 more for this Campaign).. But then again, we are getting The Mighty Nein likely next year so he'll be in that.

they don't call Raishan the Diseased Deceiver for nothing. it may be the last season if we don't keep the numbers up and convince Amazon to fund seasons 4 and 5. it would be a shame if we don't get the full resolution. it is very different from the campaign, so we have no way to tell you which way they'll go.

@@elvin2514 I mean, the sequel series, The Mighty Nein, is in pre-production and they're advertising and teasing it. I would be pretty surprised. But then I have no idea what Prime's metrics are for videos.

I saw something where this show is ranked 2 on prime video for the month of October. I would be crushed if we can't get the conclusion of this show probably 2 more seasons possibly 1 more.

It's confirmed for season 4. I don't know if they'll do a 5. They might wrap up all of campaign 1 in season 4.

can anybody tell me why Raishan lied about the secret entrance if her goal also to have Thordak dead?

It was very recently sealed, so I'm not sure she did. We're meant to think that she did, but a.) Thordak was his own kind of sneaky and deceptive, and he might have left the opening visible to test the other members of the conclave. E.g. if a humanoid gets into my lair through this entrance, I'll know who told them about it. b.) he likely caught wind of the coming army through his own means and sealed it off at the last minute. An Army isn't wildly easy to hide. In the campaign, he knew they were coming because his forces encountered them outside the city. His forces in the campaign weren't his offspring, mind you, but nonetheless.

Since he was leaving the eggs he probably triple checked the lair was secure and found an entrance he hadnt noticed before
