Mike! Double your Magic Meter already! Maybe it isn't necessary at this point in the game, but it's very helpful and I do it as early as possible. Good play-throughs though; really enjoying them :)

1:06:45, you could have used the Bombos Medallion here too. If you had gone through the swamp in the Dark World, reached a dead end, and used the Magic Mirror at said dead end to get yourself on top of a cliff near the entrance to the desert, and used the Book of Mudora on a monolith that's on top of said cliff.

How am I missing these streams?? For the past two hours i've been refreshing the gaming page and see nothing, and i never even receive notifications on mobile or normal. What are the normal weekday times for streams?

+Mister Rope The way that works for me (from a PC/laptop) is by refreshing Cinemassacre's You Tube home page (the regular Cinemassacre, not Extras). If you're lucky, you'll see the live streaming box (which you'll have to click to watch the actual stream). Mike plays any day of the week (mostly weekdays, not weekends), usually 8-12 pm EST time, and even later sometimes. If you're online at that time, just keep refreshing the page! At the beginning of the streams, a couple of months ago or even before, I was automatically getting an e-mail whenever they were streaming, so it was much easier to follow. Now You Tube stopped this, and it sucks.

***** added both that channel and cinemassacre extras a while back when you mentioned the 'add' star in another stream. Sometimes I will get notifications, like today around 6pm on my phone, and youtube will place the live streams at the top of my subscriptions too. But for the past two weeks It's been weird, or I'm getting super unlucky on the times i'm checking. Hopefully i'll catch part 5..

Great videos! You got me to buy the Wii U version haha. Just FYI you do not need the staff in the Ice Palace. Above the button you can drop blocks down into that room and then go back down and move them onto the button to keep the door open.

you don't need the cane to beat the ice palace. You drop one of those block down the hole and it appears in that room.

the bigger looking walls like the ones in the castle when you fell down the tombstone mike you can break those open by dashing into them. You don't need to bomb the bigger ones. a helpful tip if you didn't know.

Mike: you can hold down the attack button against a wall and it will tap it against the wall. The sound it makes will tell you if the wall can be bombed

Maybe a good trick, that i've learned not that long ago, even dough i've been playing this game so many times. Just sprinkle some fairy dust on those anti fairies to get ..........well a normal fairy. Don't know why i've never knew that before :D

I would of gotten the half magic meter that the bat gives you in the hollow tree in the light world before the ice dungeon

you can actually stand at the fairy fountains (with item upgrades) and wait for the message to come again and mike, why didnt you get the magic upgrade, halving your magic usage, and the tempered sword? thats what i used to do as soon as i could back then also, as someone else said in another part of this one, you can change the "bubbles" into fairies if you use the powder, i forgot about that until i saw that comment, and was like "ohhhhh i forgot that, haha" and i used to do that a lot early in the game already

I watched this stream earlier today and got really annoyed when you kept saying you needed the staff for the switch in the Ice Palace. Bad info! You just need to solve the puzzle to lower the blue blocks on the floor above it to push a block down. :) Many people assumed you were just trolling us.

Yes. But it does take backtracking, and it's not super easy to figure out tbh unless you already know about it. Or maybe he just wanted the cane. I usually don't get it until I need it for turtle rock.
