In an update a few years ago, they broke the level preview camera, so I love how you can see that this whole level is built in a tiny area surrounded by rocks. It's actually kinda nice to see how it all works from a map editing standpoint, they used a surprisingly small portion of the map I've actually seen a few course designs that require jumping, they tend to be pretty creative maps. I would suggest one called Treehop Village if you want to see what that's like. There's also a course I'm fond of called Riverview Golf Club, which is designed like a normal golf course rather than a mini golf course. I've made five maps myself (though my first one is unplayable now due to changes in the editor). The one I'm personally most proud of is called Glurpgoop Swamp, if y'all ever want to check it out :p
@Caprizant2 жыл бұрын
Actually, it looks like something about the game physics has changed to make some of the holes on Treehop Village nearly impossible to complete. You might be able to do it with slightly lower gravity than normal, but that sucks :V

2 things I got out of this video. 1. Based solely on golf holes, Zelda is better than Sonic. 2. I really wanna watch Stephen and Friends play Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Online, be it vanilla or randomizer.

Stephen, you should do a stream of building a Golf With Your Friends level similar to the RPG Maker stream, then whatever is made gets played on the mext Stephen and Friends

Seeing Stephen and Thomas's cooperation makes me want to see you guys play Golf With Your Friends in "Offense Defense mode" (after the GTA V gametype of the same name). Everyone's in teams of two: one person's playing "normally", and their score is their team's score. The other person's job is to ensure that their teammate scores low (by hitting their ball so it goes farther/into the hole like what Thomas did to Stephen) and that their opponents eat shit (by getting in the way, knocking them off the map, etc.). Definitely chaotic, probably fun!

It's kind of fun looking at this and seeing how much the map has changed over the course of 2-3 years. Some holes didn't exist in the version I played. Then the whole "We're doing the same hole again" wasn't a thing either.

I think it’s better to make some courses without jumping in mind in case there are people who dislike playing with it, plus you could say there are lore reasons for not being able to jump because Link is unable to manually jump in ocarina of time

2:44 The fact that if Stephen designed a Golf With Your Friends level, it would be based entirely around the jump mechanic, is the least surprising revelation in gaming since Nintendo decided to reduce Zelda to a damsel in distress again in BOTW2.
