The Legend of Zelda II: 02: Clearing the Western Continent

Okay, so, after all the off-screen grinding, we're back with maximum stats!
That should make things much easier for us to clear out some of these temples, but we're not going to be doing full completes just yet.
Also, we revisit old Hyrule, just in a much tinier form.

Can never be easy in a game of this era. Ooof. Also wow I HAAAATE those boomerang enemies. They're actually way worse than Hammer Brothers. Heal spell rocks! Now I just end up thinking, "Ali! Use the magic of Oprin!" The increase in size of this over Zelda I is fascinating. I also wonder if the difficulty scale is the same between Zelda I and II as it is between SMB1 and 2. That downward stab IS cool, wow! I wonder if my cousin ever beat this game.

Hehe, this is certainly the era of punishment for length! And yeah, Scheherazade memories are good! :)
