I'm trying to start learning but I'm not sure what harp to start with. Do you have any recommendations?
@tucagwathiel33805 жыл бұрын
@@NoTrueLoveForMe In my opinion? I'd start with a smaller harp. That's what I did, at least. Aside from being much cheaper at around $300 or so as opposed to a few thousand dollars, the smaller harp will give you a chance to even see if you'll take to the harp. While you do get a smaller range, you can always move a chord up an octave or down as needed. I'd say, once you've gotten a feel for the instrument and like it and practice a few months, then you could look into investing into a larger harp. I hope this helps and that the advice isn't too late!

Well it would be a more advanced muscle memory. It would be practice and a passion for the instrument, time investment rather than mental or phtsical. Your fingers can learn the position of the strings on a guitar without you looking down to make sure every time. Not the violin, it takes a lot longer, but you can get your fingertip pressing the exact right spot with every note. Without looking or thinking about it. With a lot of practice with the instrument, you can play it without much thought. There was a documentary, I think called the wrecking crew, on the musicians that actually played all the music some chumps sang over. First take, most times.
