It's fascinating how much the versions differ in other languages. I always doubted that spirit tracks happens after phantom hourglass, since it's never brought up in german (or I never really noticed it). But in english zelda specifically calls on tetra as her ancestor to reclaim her body, which is as concrete as it gets. Then the fact that all the names are different. I have heard so many names for mr. iron hand like byrne, staven, delok and much more. What a strange, yet fascinating game...

Yeah, waay to late reply, but; It is said that Zelda is "a" ancestor of Tetra. But it is not spezified that she is the direct ancestor, the translators probably missed that. Also, in the german version almost every important NPC has a Name thats somewhat relative to a train, or a steam engine. You've got Glaiss, (Gleis) Delok ( E-Lok), Shiene (Schiene), Ventilo (Ventil), Tender , Kessel.... Thats all wordplay, which is really genius. That kind of detail is something that really shows that the Game has gotten Love. I dont know how it is in other Languages though, maybe in Japanese its also like that, dont know.

Wait was tetra mentioned anywhere in the german version? I don't remember sadly. Also yes, the characters and bosses have different names for about any language. If you look up one of them, you sometimes get a list of all their existing names and they are mostly train puns, it's great ^^

Growing uo my parents were fully aware of my Zelda obsession we were poor but she always came through for me. My dad had introduced me to the first and 2nd games and from there I went on to play OoT and its my favorite game/story of all time to this day. I remember getting phantom hourglass for my 9th birthday and then again when I was 11 I got spirit tracks for that birthday. So many good memories experiencing these stories as a child.
