Since I’m french, I play Botw with french voices. And after watching the french version of the newest trailer, Ganondorf LEGIT sounds like his Twilight Princess version and I love it so much.

Regarding the voice acting for Ganondorf, my wife basically had the same reaction as you, but I pointed out that it's basically on par for quality with all the voice acting from BOTW. It's not high-budget movie quality for sure, but it's plenty good enough to serve whatever this story is and not be distracting. And for that scene with the bokoblin mining ore, I've got a feeling that's underground, or at least somewhere very different than Hyrule or the sky.
