Wholesome true story: This was the first Zelda game I ever played (wii version) when I was 11 years old. I knew nothing about Zelda or even that much about Nintendo in general. It was $30 bucks at a Walmart and I had a gift card and wanted a new video game. I picked it because it looked epic. I thought it would be like LotR (my dad just started showing me those movies for the first time around this time) I went home played it and at first I was really bored with it lol. The whole Ordon Village tutorial felt long to my child brain and I thought the whole game was gonna be like that. I kept playing and eventually became addicted. I loved it so much. I have beaten it 8 different times in my life and 3 of those times were a complete 100%. I have all the collectibles memorized now. I would actually replay from the beginning to just the first dungeon over and over countless times because I loved the beginning story. Now I’m 24 years old and Zelda games are still my favorite thing to do as a way to relax. I have beaten all 3D Zelda games (except Majoras Mask) at least twice and 100% completed them even including BotW lol I have 700+ hours on that game alone. Currently I am playing Major’s Mask for the first time in my life and love it. Zelda games, specifically twilight princess, will always have a place in my heart. I am a little kid at heart and it probably won’t ever change.

My first Zelda game was Ocarina of time i don't know why but it has always had a special place for me, maybe the soundtrack and the fact my got me to play it on the wii (of course) with the classic controller. I played TP on wii when it came out and loved it especially the twilight theme

Leon Kennedy yeah Ocarina of time is really good too. Idk if it’s better than twilight Princess honestly. I probably would say it is if I didn’t have such a bias towards loving twilight Princess. It’s the one that opened the door to the Zelda universe for me.

IT WAS THE SAME FOR ME!! I played it at 8yo wii version. Helped me get past through personal problems and teached me lots of lessons as well as kindness and when to defend yourself it being never strike first and wait for the counter, ive actually won fights like this. It was my childhood and helped me eliminate my fears the sand castle was terrifying I feared the lantern ghost thingis LITERALLY SHAKING while mashing the B button to bite them lol. To this day I love twilight princess with my heart and it shaped me and got embedded to my heart. Sometimes I see what this game has teached me. Im today 16 yo and if it wasnt for this game I would have totally died already, I felt as if I was NEEDED to save hyrule i was important i mattered... Todays day and age men are bad and unnecessary due to feminism and on top i felt like an error due to my dad leaving me at birth so I just thought of myself as an error, but suddenly I understood I mattered A GAME teached me that I mattered and even if its just a game I saved Hyrule. No, Hyrule saved me.

The reason Zelda is so great, is because they truly make you feel as if your creating a legend. From the amazingly designed dungeons, to the epic boss battles, The music is undescribably Fantastic, and is one of the greatest aspects of Zelda. Here’s my opinions about all 3D Zelda games OoT - Best Story. Worst gameplay mechanics (good for its time.) MM - Best Atmosphere and personality. Worst Dungeons. WW - Best Graphics. Worst Story. TP - Best Music. Worst Graphics. SS - Best gameplay mechanics. Worst hand holding. BotW - Best characters. Worst Music. These are just my opinions and I’m comparing them all to each other. BotW has worse music than all of the Zelda games but goddamn I love it and listen to it a lot. Please share your thoughts/opinions. I’m interested.
