I'm 22 years old, been obese all my life... Started going to the gym and dieting about 2 months ago, already down from 242lbs to 221lbs. Zyzz's spirit makes me smile on the days I feel like giving up. He taught me that it was time to reject gluttony and embrace masculinity. Love and miss you brah! UPDATE: 05/10/2022 I really never expected this comment to get this much love, the community and culture Zyzz has created is truly unmatched. As of today I weighed in just under 210 pounds. I’m going for gold, we’re all going to make it brah! UPDATE: 06/10/2022 First of all… I appreciate each and every last one of you have commented some motivation. Love you guys more than you know! This month I’m disappointed to say I’ve only dropped about 4 pounds, making my new lowest weight 206. BUT, I’m seeing REAL results and a that’s enough for me to keep pushing! Love you guys! Zyzz would be proud of all of us! UPDATE: 07/13/2022 This weight loss shit is getting hard. However, I'm pleased to announce I have finally made it under 200 (current weight: 198.6) I've reached a point in my journey where I've had to change things up to get results. I've began experimenting with prolonged fasting and only drinking a salt water mixture to get me through. This has been the first time in my life I've completed a 72 hour fast (last week). The gym was brutal hahaha. I'm still making solid gains, really grateful for how much I've slimmed down and put on muscle. My focus is getting sharper, confidence is increasing, and life is truly getting better. To everyone who's commented so far, I love you... This comment section is the only group I actually talk to about my progress lol. Until next time brah! We're all gonna make it! UPDATE: 09/10/2022 Sorry I missed last months update! However... I'm absolutely crushing it! This has honestly turned into the best year of my life. I weighed in this morning at 185.2 and I'm truly so stoked on how my body is looking. Over the past 2 months I've had to get really serious about educating myself on the full scope of healthy living, I'm talking diet, fitness, you name it. Get inspired my fellow sick cunts! Agreed
@FitLabb2 жыл бұрын
@Erwin Lii There was a lot of powerful stuff you said there, & you’ll probably be surprised to hear that I actually agree with a good amount of it. I believe that a person’s purpose for doing anything in life matters (including pursuing a fit & healthy lifestyle), as it defines their “why” & which path they set out on. While Zyzz got his start because of a childhood where he was bullied (incredibly similar to my experience, as being badly bullied was the single biggest reason that I started working out as well), he & I took very different paths from there, as we developed a very different purposes after that point. Internet fame might be a big part of why that happened with him, but I don’t know enough to assume anything…..But that’s why I said what I did about the positives & negatives about him, & also why I was happy to learn that he had been changing his ways to want to be a much better role model, & use his influence for good in the latter part of his life. After all, It’s the purpose that guides us in what we do that ultimately comes to define us, and I also believe that people are capable of changing that about themselves along the path of their life. What you said about wanting a better body like me or Zyzz, and that nothing is effortless or comes without a cost also struck me for several reasons. On one hand, I’m well aware that Zyzz took PEDs to achieve his physique. I don’t judge people who choose to take PEDs, as whatever they do with their body is their business…..However I DO take issue with it when they are dishonest about it, especially when the main reason they present that lie is to sell products or services while pretending they achieved their physique naturally. I also don’t like how it reinforces body dysmorphia and the setting of unrealistic goals to countless people out there. I don’t know enough about Zyzz to know if he lied about his PED use, or lied to sell things, but sadly the fitness industry is FULL of people who do that, and who do actively prey on people’s desperation & insecurities as you said. In my case, please don’t judge a book by its cover, as I’ve always been the polar opposite of all that nonsense. I started working out at 14 years old, & I’m now a 42 year old married father of 2 young boys who I aim to be the best possible role model for every single day. Achieving my fitness goals did come from great consistent efforts over the last 28 years, and the main “costs” for me have been removing a future of likely poorer health, becoming more confident, having a productive outlet for when I have a bad day, and my time. I have NEVER touched a single drug of any kind my entire life, nor will I ever, and that’s something I’m incredibly proud of. So I am here to tell you that you can achieve reasonable & attainable fitness goals for yourself, & you shouldn’t let all the BS, lies, & scams out there stop you from putting in the positive & productive efforts to start following a regular exercise program that’s both appropriate, sustainable, & enjoyable for you…..because I promise that your future self will thank you for doing that! Every bit of time & effort I’ve put in the gym over all these years has been worth it, as it’s improved my life in innumerable ways, and has even been my career for the last 20 years as a fitness professional who gets to actually help people become the best, happiest, & healthiest versions of themselves every single day. And I do that with the utmost amount of integrity, because at the end of every day, I have to not only look in the mirror and like who I see, but I also have to answer to my kids to make sure they’re proud of their Dad too. Long story short, I’m with you as I actually share many of the same frustrations with the industry that you have. That’s one of the main reasons I threw my hat into the ring last year as well, by founding an online fitness coaching platform and a KZbin channel, both of which operate with the utmost of honesty & integrity. So thank you for leaving that thoughtful & important comment, and I wanted to let you know that there are actually good people in the industry who do truly care about doing things the right way & actually helping people who need & want it. And with that said, feel free to reach out anytime at all either in the comments or with a DM on Instagram, as I’m always happy to field any questions you might have, & I promise you’ll never be bothering me. Wishing you all the best Erwin! 👍

May I make a suggestion? You can work on your body till the cows come home. It's only going to help your body. You need to work on your mind as well. It never hurts to talk to somebody to try and figure out how to lose those insecurities. It's like having a trainer for your mind just like having one for your body. Hardstyle remixs with Zyzz speeches in them pump me up. Every set I'm struggling with I just know he would be supporting all of us to keep going. No matter If you like him or not but he made so many people to start working out. He made me want to go gym and start losing fat. I was really overweight and shy so gym wasnt option for me for a long time. I remember one time while I was watching youtube his video came up. I watched him fool around and he didint care what others think about him. That was the moment I said to my self that im going to get fit no matter what. Guess what? I lost 40 in 6 months just by working out. I realized workout alone isnt enough so I invested in personalized meal plan from Next Level Diet. I lost 20 more lbs in less than two months. I am a different man now physically and mentally and I own big thanks to Zyzz for being such an inspiration.

I’ve just been on this big fkn Zyzz rabbit hole the last couple of days Actually got that hyped watching his stuff back in the day It’s so strange I still remember the most impactful thing he ever said for me was “We’re all gonna make it Brahs” Even though it’s kinda funny but I think the 17 year old version of myself wanted direction because I didn’t really know what I wanted to to do and I was I just absolutely starving for direction, purpose and something to invest my energy into instead of wasting away in my room playing call of duty Then I started weight training and it was really impactful for me because it was the first time I invested in something on my own accord that I was getting immediate positive feedback from because my muscles were getting bigger and taking shape and that was so impactful for me I was building myself to become someone else We all were when we were in the gym And regardless of the all the controversies and stuff with Zyzz that moment when he said “We’re all gonna make it” that came from such an organic place from Zyzz I found so much encouragement from it It’s so strange looking back man Took myself from 63kg in year twelve in 2011 to 89kg in 2020 Deadlifted 230kg Squatted 180kg Navigated body dysmorphia and came out the other side a better person with understanding It’s hard for others to understand who haven’t trained before and changed their body It was never about the weights or the muscle It was about the journey The weights were the tools The body was the vehicle The muscle was the reassurance that I was heading somewhere and becoming someone different Now I’m at a place of appreciation of the whole process And I’m so glad I picked up my first set 4kg dumbbells and started doing curls with shit form 10 years ago because that was the start of the journey And all these years later I’m still fkn mirin brah Thank you Zyzz
