The impact that Abdulmanap had on the UFC and fighting cannot be overstated. In his gym he was known for doing everything he could to help young fighters out so that they could train hard and have a good life. He believed in Martial Arts as a way out for many people; a way to avoid extremism and addictions. Such a blessing.

another lesson i learned from islam is his emotional intelligence. he never reacts. he always keeps his calm demeanor even in under pressure. remember when dustin poirier was shouting at him at the cage, hyping him up because he was able to punch islam, defended his takedowns, and elbowed him? he remained calm and composed - poker face, not letting dustin know his emotions so he cannot use those against him.

He is one of the most funniest, resepctful and chill fighters in the roster, a thing i noticed is the way he gets fighters under their skin without resorting to mock their personal values: - Called Oliveira a quitter - Called Volk short man and dismissed his chances - Somehow made Green and Hooker very bitter as if he said something very mean to them😭 At the end he respects every fighters he shared the octagon with the "trash talk" is only a part of the fight game he knows.

Great video. A lot of people in the west default to hating just because he doesn’t look, think, and talk like them. His character is 100% a reflection of his faith in Islam. I know because I recognize all these traits, and living in a Muslim country you see many people with these same traits. This video is much deeper than you may have intended it to be, because for 20 years Muslims have been demonized and dragged through the mud along with their faith, as if it was something to be ashamed about. And him along with Khabib, have shown to so many people here how a Muslim should be. So kudos to you for making this video and showing respect where it’s due.
