To be fair, that's actually a reasonable response. If you lost an arm you'd try to distance yourself from the injury as much as possible. Obviously it doesn't work, but when you lose a limb you're generally not thinking clearly. Garmadon taking control of the situation was really the best move because it helped Lloyd calm down a bit. Like oh, he can fix this. Which makes the scene where he goes 'you put my arm back on like a real dad' even better because most kids believe that their dad can fix anything. Including their arm coming off.

0:01 there's a deleted scene in the first boat movie that's exactly like this. I saw it on the DVD bonus features. He was in a grocery store pointing out every single type of cheese in their entire cheese section and repeatedly saying (and what is this?, and what is this?, and what is this?) and the store employee kept repeating (uh that's cheese sir, that's cheese too, yeah that's cheese, sir everything in here is cheese, yes that cheese) it was one of the funniest borat scenes.

Garmadon is easily my favorite character. Ninjago came out when I was a kid, and Garmadon was my favorite in the show as well. But seeing this funnier Garmadon years later was great, loved it!
