In this video, we'll be taking a look at the new 2023 LEGO Marvel set 76249, Venomized Groot. This is a $50 Lego set that comes out on August 1, 2023 which I was able to find early at Kohl's in Murfreesboro, TN.

I like this set. The fully venomized version of Groot reminds me of the last episode of Spider-Man I saw on TV before my parents got rid of cable & got a Roku instead in the summer of 2020. It was Marvel’s Spider-Man Season 3 Episode 3 Vengeance of Venom where Spider-Man had to team up with Moon Knight & Max Modell to enhance Groot’s natural antibodies to fight off the Symbiote invasion of the planet. I might pick this one up just because of what it reminds me of.

In the instructions it tells u the alternate build instructions r on the lego builder app. I built the venom version and it is sick lol. I am not a Marvel guy and still have no freaking clue who this guy is or what he does. I got it simply because it looks cool as hell

It does beg the question, if they can give you the bag of spares to swap the build over on this, why couldn't they have done that with the quinjet to swap between Avengers and Shield versions

Actually he is wrong, in the instructions it tells you that the full venom model is online. So you don’t have to do it by the picture
