Jeg liker Tangen. Han er no-nonsense, karismatisk, har et kompromissløst growth mindset og tørr å kritisere konsensus. Han vet hva han er, og viker ikke unna. Det trengs sårt i Staten.

I enjoyed the speech, except the last part of giving feedback to Øystein , there are of course many things can be improved about NHH but the way Nicolai said it seemed a bit aggressive

There is a reason to it. I have undertaken teacher and engineering degrees at the higher education. And what was astounding was how few dedicated teachers there was. And when you ask other people they mostly comfirm the same experience. Ofcourse, some of them have their biases. For me I worked extremly hard to achieve top scores however I am shocked at the level of lack of entusiasm in higher education in Norway and even more so at the detachment from what the specific education from the needs in knowledge in the professional work. I took extra courses as there were some indicators for knowlegde needed that the couses did not cover. How can we reach a new level when there is a clear detach from what is needed in the professinal work combined with unmotivated teachers? (For the few amazing teacher I've had this does not apply - they are one in a thousand) I understand the frustration and the point is important to give a clear feedback to education - kudos to Tangen for pointing this out to Øystein. An improvement in this will greatly increase value for next generation of graduates.

next time start the speech addressing who the speech is meant for and how it is composed into x number of segments. During the speech you introduce each segment before starting it. This way you outline the direction of the speech through out the speech and keep your audience focused on each segment story. You have great content 🤗
