@mikedavis8008 What a boring and lazy take. It’s new music continuing the tradition they like and are familiar with. No songwriter or human in the world is a clean slate, we all continue established traditions. With your logic, Bob Dylan ripped off Woody Guthrie. The Beach Boys ripped off Phil Spector and The Four Freshmen. The Beatles ripped off Chuck Berry and Buddy Holly. Simon and Garfunkel ripped off The Everly Brothers. Etc etc.
