Pete walked off because the sound was being turned off; this was because there was a fight in the front row and people were getting crushed. Thumbs Up so people see.

I was already in my 30s when the Libertines hit the scene. As a long time punk and indie fan I took to them immediately. Far too many people dismiss them. That's a shame because they are missing some real talent. Raw rock/punk and poetry.

I think their first album is definitely up there with the classic punk albums, it's a great album.

I'm a big Libertines fan and sincerely I used to think they've lost a bit of their passion when I saw the videos from August 24 and 25, but this changed my mind, they still implode in genius and spill passion in certain moments. I don´t want to think of a new album, it scares me, it could be the most amazing thing in the world or a lame fail, it´s 50/50. :S
@bevyk77714 жыл бұрын
Love the way they picked up right where they left off when they got to restart! Can you imagine walking out in front of that many people?! I would have brain freeze. That has to be unreal. THAT many people watching you and their good time depending on what you are about to do. They made sure everyone had a blast though didn't they? It looks like they had fun too. WEE!!!!!!

Did you see the stylish kids in the riot? Shovelled up like muck and set the night on fire Wombles bleed, truncheons and shields, you know I cherish you my love But there's a rumour spread nasty disease around town You caught round the houses with your trousers down A headrush in the bush You know I cherish you, my love Oh, how I cherish you, my love Tell me what can you want now you've got it all The whole scene is obscene Time will strip it away A year and a day And Bill Bones Bill Bones knows what I mean He knows it's eating, it's chewing me up It's not right for young lungs to be coughing up blood And it's all It's all in my hands And it's all up the walls Well the stale chips are up and the hope stakes are down It's all these ignorant faces that bring this town down And I sighed and sunken with pride Well, I passed myself down on my knees Yes, I passed myself down on my knees Now tell me what can you want now you've got it all The whole scene is obscene Time will strip it away A year and a day And Bill Bones Bill Bones knows what I mean He knows there's fewer more distressing sights than that Of an Englishman in a baseball cap And we'll die in the class we were born But that's a class of our own my love A class of our own, my love Did you see the stylish kids in the riot Shovelled up like muck Set the night on fire Wombles bleed truncheons and shields You know I cherish you my love Yeah, I cherish you, my love

Carl and Pete have the ultimate Gemini Pisces relationship. Carl’s got that mccartney/gemini: looks so well put together, good presentation, great guitarist, overall musicianship, and Pete has all those Pisces/Kurt cobain features of being the overall spotlight of the band, messy, very spotty playing, etc.
@OtakBolong6 жыл бұрын
wow someone actually brought up astrology! lol I guess that's also why they're both flighty when problems arise. Gemini tends to avoid confrontation cos they don't like to be in touch with emotional side of things while Pisces just hate being rude, it resulted in passive-aggressiveness tho.

@valadez191 Hi! I see what you are saying about a new album - you don't want anything messing up their legacy. I think after watching this show, it is safe to say that these 4 still have that true magic when together. My secret wish is that maybe over the years apart, they have written some extra special songs and stashed them thinking, "this one is for when we get the band back together"... Can you imagine THAT album?. Can't hurt to dream right?! :~)
