Even if it was not him that threw Mark Blanco over the balcony, he was guilty of man slaughter in leaving him to die (which is on cctv) and not reporting who did it, which he must have known. There are multiple professionals, including the coroner on the case, who have clearly said that he didn’t commit suicide. Just watch the video of Mark’s body falling (which I know you won’t do, obviously). He doesn’t try to stop his fall. The body’s limp and he falls directly onto his head. Somebody pushes him over. Plus, nobody said “not guilty”. They said “not enough evidence”. Johnny Headlock confessed and the retracted it ffs. Even if, in some fantasy world, he had nothing to do with Mark’s death, he hasn’t even said sorry to Mark’s mum about her son dying after visiting his crack den. He’s scum.

Saw him three times: 1) 2010 Reading (got backstage passes after meeting Gary in an open mic, where his partner got pissed at me because I kept talking to him, that beast, say the rhythm animal in my favorite band at the time who somehow wouldn’t stop talking to a simple 22 yo fanboy me; 2) 2016 Pete solo pre Hamburg Demonstrations, that time he went to Argentina and liked coke so much down here he stayed for months after playing with the Libs (my then Hong Kong girlfriend, who was lead oboe for the philharmonic got smashed with a bottle during the Fuck Forever encore) and 3) in 2017 a Puta Madres gig with Katia, was beautiful.

Haters always gonna hate, but the very existence of this man is just pure poetry, every cell of my body just get warm watching him. He’s so raw, fundamentally raw, and that’s precisely what makes him so f*cking unique. There’s NO ONE in the world who sounds like him. Who writes like him… so ingenious yet so simple. I wonder how can one combine all of this together in such an appealing figure as well. Thanks for uploading this, I’ve seen it hundreds of times and it does not fail to amaze me and gives me chills. Cheers all the way from São Paulo/Brazil.

The word infatuated may be somewhat strong when it comes to this interesting, what u see is what u get true gentleman. I can admire and respect another man who in the past continued to F' up, admit his PERSONAL DEMONS and then get up - brush himself off to continue his journey in life. Such a brilliant songwriter and should be more known here in the states. Keep it up Peter and thanks for the many songs that I can relate to and helps me through some tough days.✌

@@mickdundee8497 let me disagree with ypu, buddy... there are people (like you I believe) who values technical precision, perfect time etc, other people (like me) digs unpredictability at music, and Pete's provides it in spades, playin' in a reckless yet charming way... may be not everyone's cup of tea, but not everyone is interested in the same things... watch to some Pavement playin live and you'll see Stephen Malkmus bringin' as much unpredictability at keeping tempo (but in a drug free, cleaner way), and I doubt you can say Malk isn't a musical genius.. also I believe Pete's clean these days. and he's a great songwritter, indeed

He plays like he lives, always on the verge of disaster. He holds up the guitar and is completely on another planet and you expect he'll fuck the performance up one moment or another but no, the performance is saved. Because art is always on the verge of disaster. If it isn't, it's just boring.
