I thought about the fact that most of you will be going to the beach, playing volley ball, hitting the park with your dog, taking a long ride in the country, watching the fireworks, and having a backyard barbecue, and I wanted to make sure you started off with your Rock-afire tribute to the birth of our great nation, instead of seeing this after all the festivities were over.

Thank you. I just don't want the haters to infiltrate my beloved fans' brains and hearts. Of course I have had to beat up haters in my time when they attack me. I've been doing this for 40 years. Fun fact- Most of the haters in the Rock-afire community who I have had to deal with have impressive police and court records. DUI's, Fraud, Theft, Disturbing the Peace, IP violations, Hacking, Identity Theft. And they want to tell you to hate me. I can't name one hater with no police record. And the young haters who are just having their mushy minds warped by the adult haters don't count. Give them a few years.

Aaron- Thank you for putting this up. Great memories. Great show. But you cut off the best part...I installed the liberty show in 1986. You replaced Rolfe with an actual spot on replica of the statue of liberty. I watched people moved to tears when the curtains opened and heard liberty speak and heard what each character said about the USA. Probably the most repeat visitors i have ever seen where people brought other people in to see it. And most moving of all was a family returning from overseas all stood up and put their hands on the hearts when the the liberty statue curtain opened. Thank you again for putting that show out, wish folks here could have seen it in it's full glory! It was truly an inspiring show.

This was a re-record of the liberty show that was done in the 90s if I’m not mistaken. This was sent out in the show selector package to other entertainment centers that had the show. Since those entertainment centers couldn’t have the Statue of Liberty installed on stage, the second part of the show was cut off, leaving just the main medley. Otherwise still an incredibly moving show.

I worked at Showbiz in Columbus, OH when this show first debuted. The tech had orders to run this showtape AT FULL VOLUME. Patrons were not happy.

Did Aaron ever own one of the Statue of Liberty figures that were set up at Showbiz ?

No. That retrofit was made and send out to all the stores by corporate Showbiz. This was the beginning of their mission to push Creative out of the show making business so they could have the fun and control of doing that themselves in Dallas. So, this marks the beginning of the destruction they brought to themselves as a company that understood and cared about entertaining their audience. And, you can see how that evolved for them.

Yes.The American school system is a bit different. Most American schools only have 2 terms in a school year. We have the fall term, which goes from August/September to December, and then we have the spring term, which goes from January until May/June. Going to school in July is rare out here (unless you're in college, but even then it isn't common). The only reason people would be in school in July is either to avoid repeating a year or to get ahead in certain subjects.

No this didn't lead to hostility. The hostility was already damp, and smelly, and existed In all the nasty cracks of the Showbiz corporation. They were well on their way to pushing Creative out by this time, but I didn't let it bother me because I knew that for all things there is a time and when that time is over, it's over. I never fought this. I let them fester in their oozing pustules of jealousy and went my own way.
