The reason Skellir became all of a sudden better isn't because he was "7 tapping" and it was "op", its because he just started cheating. Theres videos showing him "7 tapping" and taking no kb because of that but its obvious he was toggled. Edit: I didnt watch to the end mb 😭

i cant lie i definitely blame myself for this whole thing. it started around a year ago. skellir was live and we decided to 1v1 and he noticed my kb was really low (i toggled as a joke to see if he would notice). i used the excuse of me "7tapping" because i had heard of it in one of zalorns videos. after that he begged me to teach him and for some reason it worked for him (i dont know if he toggled or not). after that day, he would only talk about kb and spent most of his time making macros for the lowest kb possible. i eventually made a 7tapping video because he asked if i could make one and i was like sure. eventually this 7tapping thing became controversial so i stopped talking about it/doing it

Well the thing is this whole debate is unnecessary if people knew how the game worked. 7-tapping reduces kb, but only for the same reason any other type of strafing does. Because strafing makes you move slightly faster and when you move faster you take less kb. Also its not even called 7-tapping, its just called zig zag strafing and the only reason people call it seven tapping is because this one guy called stephenseven on hypixel sumo used it so much.
