The fact Rick Rude finished that last match with Sting after injuring his back is nothing short of super-human. The guy was an absolute beast. I enjoyed his gimmick sooo much as a kid. He made us all laugh at his antics. One of the best if not THE best heels ever and a phenomenal in ring performer. He had it all. Rest in Peace Rick

@robertd90005 жыл бұрын
@REDz Rum If you like DiBiase as a heel in WWF, look up his heel work in Mid-South Wrestling prior to going with Vince. His turn on JYD over the North American title is classic. He was a huge fan favorite at the time and with the way Bill Watts ran his territory, it always seemed like a real deal shoot. I recall DiBiase having a seperate dressing room because the fan favorites hated him for turning on JYD and he wasn't accepted by the heel locker room either. I've seen him live in Biloxi, MS more times than I can count and with the heat he had at that time, the police had to escort him out of the building for a year or so. He was the original "in the middle" guy neither fan favorite or total heel like Steve Austin was when he came up with the "stone cold" gimmick.

Nah Shawn Michaels gimmick was a lot similar to Rick Rudes. A cocky dude who thought he was gods gift to wrestling and women but could back it up in the ring like the dude in the video says. He was technically the first member as he was in insurance policy Shawn claimed to have been paying for protection and that's when Rude provided Shawn Michaels with Helmsley and Chyna for back up lol those 4 were D-Generation X before D-Generation X was cool!

Hulk Hogan was extremely jealous of Rick Rude and did his best to try and bury him when he joined then WWF. Rick Rude was a noted family man who was completely opposite of the gimmick he portrayed and was good friends with A LOT of wrestlers. Hulk Hogan’s gimmick (being this wholesome family guy who encouraged people to say their Prayers and take their vitamins) was exactly how Rick Rude was as a real person outside of the ring. The Ravishing Rick Rude gimmick was more inline with how Hulk Hogan was really like, as a real person outside of the ring. Rest In Peace to the Ravishing One.🙏🤍
