@@EdCollects Growing up, loved anything Starship. I'd be in my room drawing, with the radio on, a Starship song would come on, and would record it on cassette hoping the DJ wouldn't talk too much over the song. We Built This City, not their best, but still enjoyable. The Professor of Rock did a long interview with him couple of years ago, real interesting. It's on KZbin.

Okay, so he actually didn't start Jefferson Starship. He wasn't even an original member of that band. Jefferson Starship was founded and formed by then-married couple Paul Kantner and Grace Slick. Marty joined before the smash hit success *Red Octopus* in 1975 and stayed with the band for just 3 years, leaving in 1978 after Grace Slick's absolutely and utter meltdown in front of a German audience and her subsequent temporary removal from the band to enter forced rehab.

"Share a Little Joke With The World" is one of my favorites. It is a song which I think might be singular in that I can't quite think of another song expressing that particular thought, or even a similar musical structure. Not as well known as Miracles, perhaps because while JA were very creative musically, Crown of Creation was incredibly dark regarding human existence, one of the darkest sets of music ever produced. And not unjustified, either. Happy music is probably the lie we focus on to get through our days.

@@EdCollects Cleveland. A city that gets way too much shit! It's beautiful. But the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame is a joke. It looks beautiful sitting on the lake, though. It’s fun to go jet skiing and tubing on the lake. I never understood the shit my city gets. It's full of rivers, lakes, and streams and tremendous parks with some stunning waterfalls. The sunsets here are amazing, too, especially on the lake.
