My parents, Roosevelt democrats always said he was too nice to be president. Now they are in heaven together and he is reunited with Rosland. His run for a second term was my first vote for a president and also my last for a democrat. Rest in peace now Jimmy, you fight the good fight and finished the race.

The political importance of Jimmy Carter's presidency, for me, was his use of economic boycotts instead of military force. his efforts weren't particularly successful. But they inspired the greater us of them later. Who can count the loss of lives and destruction that may have been averted.
