Thank you for sharing this video. I met him in the late 90'S and he gifted me with a bout an hour of his time, before he started his book signing. He was the real deal and so funny. I've followed him on his private platforms since that time and when he joined FB I followed him there.. Recently he did start sharing on FB, his stories with us, the good and the bad. Many of these stories made those who love him angry and sad. He went through a great deal in the public eye, many people were unkind to him. He did tell us that he was dying, so every post was important and recently he asked us to join him on his private site to talk. He said so many people did not believe it was him. After meeting him I can say that his sense humor is so distinctive, that you can't replicate it. Richard was always Richard. Last month he spoke about drunk driving and I shared my accident with one as a 9 year old, who unfortunately suffered life long injuries. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that he had sent me a long heartfelt message, it will now go with the picture and signed book that I treasure from someone who always cared about others. May he rest in peace.

Will always remember him and how my grandmother loved him so. Would be in her little chair getting her workout on with the little outfits they wore on the VHS tape. I remember her being upset when the tape popped. Gentle soul, but not at that moment when her video tape snapped, she did too. No worries, my brother came to the rescue and fixed it. Used the clear tape to make it like new. Said all that to say, he lived a full life that was indeed worth living. Touched so many from all over no matter their walk in this life. He was kind and made many feel beautiful and he was indeed beautiful too. Today just lost a wonderful soul and the world just became a little more darker because he's gone now, but happy he is now free. Only have wonderful memories of him, and it shall be that way in my heart, for the remaining time I'm here in this life. Will miss you and rest in peace. Condolences to all who loved him. ❤🙏🏿

As a young teen I thought he was embarrassingly kooky, but as an older teen, his videos really did help me shed some necessary pounds, and I had fun doing it. Sad that we've lost such a wonderful person.

This guy was a tortured depressed soul that died utterly alone. He never married or had kids. What happiness he showed was simply a facade. Tragic story.
