Hi my dear friend, I’m so happy to see this, I don’t know nearly enough about Cilla. What an incredible voice she had, it just takes your breath away. I have a video of her tv show, singing Life’s A Gas with Marc Bolan. She was a great lady. I’ve been unwell, it’s lovely to be here again, I’ve got a few episodes to catch up on! I really admire the way you’re so thorough with your research. You manage to paint such a full picture in a short amount of time, and that’s hard. So well done! Thank you so much 🤗

I was to young when she first came to fame. I never understood why anyone would sing a song about a hut ( Anyone who had a hut)😅. My mum and dad liked her but she was not my thing at all. But hey a lot of people liked her and that's their choice. Thank you for this all the same ❤❤

I’m not surprised you covered Cilla as you evidently have the same taste as I. I ended up on KZbin showing her Blind Date and Surprise, Surprise last year. I watched all there were available. I just love her! She was perfect for hosting those shows. Kind and funny. I had googled her last year and was able to find a video of her in her gorgeous balcony in Spain. I was heartbroken to read she had passed. She’s been stuck in my mind ever since. Thank you!!!! ❤

She never had the success in the US like some British singers. Most notably, Petula Clark, Dusty Springfield, Mary Hopkin, Marianne Faithful. Her Liverpool ties with the Beatles, and Brian Epstein propelled her fame in England, which was significant. Glad she had a happy homelife and family...which many singers never achieve.

It stated she had been sun bathing on her terrace and had possibly been unsteady when she got up. The best was extreme that time. Cilla had also had a fall at a friends in the week before. Very sad, but the fall probably did cause the bleed!
