You should stop giving meth to your computer voice. Computer voices are annoying enough as it is, but this one just rambles on in phrases that don't connect well. Can't anybody in this country speak, write, or read without some artificial stupidity.

At one time our Working Mens Club in Leigh Park Havant Hampshire put on shows and invited the 60's groups. The Beatles and Gerry were far too expensive but the Searchers put on a couple of shows that blew us away, Freddy and the Dreamers, and those groups of that era came to our club.Thanks boys, you will always be remembered.

Who remembers The Searchers on Johnny Carson Tonight show in the mid 60's? They did 2 songs-Chris got called over for a long interview then they did a THIRD SONG! Carson's son liked them and Johnny liked to play drums for fun. I recorded it on a long lost tiny japanese 3 inch reel tape recorder so i still remember they sang Ain't that just like me, Don't throw your love away and needles and pins. Or maybe it was Someday we're gonna love again trying to use the massive exposure to get a new hit?

I always liked the Searchers, considered by some to be the greatest cover band of all time. It's good that he could find time to attend mass while not onstage. Everyone needs balance in their lives. He disliked Australia. I've noticed quite a few Brit musicians didn't like Oz.
@HarmonyHeartsLifestyle-ul5yvКүн бұрын
Yes it was nice to hear about his religious side, would have helped balance his hectic lifestyle ❤ And I feel like most Brits love Australia, especially considering they were the first abroad settlers there lol Perhaps because its over a 20 hr flight it puts a lot of people off 😁 Thanks as always for watching and commenting my friend 🥰👍
@apollomemories73992 сағат бұрын
Those Brit musicians who didn't like Oz was for reasons nothing to do with Oz itself or its people, but for reasons of difficulty in obtaining certain types of narcotics. Speaking as a Protestant, I feel sorry for people who need to waste their time attending a Catholic mass, like it's going to make any difference to anything in their life.
@HarmonyHeartsLifestyle-ul5yvСағат бұрын
@@apollomemories7399 That would make sense as I can see how it would be harder to obtain when first arriving in Australia. Thank you for your response 😁👍❣

I truly appreciate the nice tribute to twinkle and I've a great love for her songs singing and always will when at secondary school in the mid sixties our domestic science teacher once actually said to our form in a cooking lesson that she had taught twinkle and that she thought twinkle was a spoilt brat which personaly I took exception too why should any teacher try and single out any ex pupil whatsoever I love Terry and all other twinkle songs I never knew so much about twinkle this tribute was very interesting and highly informative r I p twinkle 60 s music forever stand s the test of time a fine singer and a beautiful charming character a true. Musical talent and a wonderful animal lover too yes twinkle you were such a shining beautiful wondrous 🌟

Frey did good as a musician as bad as a bandmate and a friend. He was jealous of other bandmates` talents as Randy Meisner and Don Felder. Although all of them were constant consumers. He had a very singular ego and was hard to treat, at least by those who he dislike them. Even Tim was nearly dragged to to his swinging unpleasant character. His great abuse of alcohol and specially drugs produce him in the long run many illnesses on him.

The line up featuring Thain and Kerslake was hands down the best. Very few could sing as good as Byron. Ian Gillan was one.

David was pure class, only own Heep albums with him. Freddie Mercury learnt a lot from Mr Byron, who is one of the greatest early seventies frontmen. Gypsy is a classic.
