The greatest guitarist the world has seen typical of his country of Birth England he never as yet received some form of commendation that he throughly deserved.Please Britain do something in his honour.People like Jeff come along once in a lifetime.

Even Clapton said (in an interview) that he had a natural gift that neither he or Page had, and that he considered Jeff the best of those three Yardbirds. I agree.

I was lucky enough to attend a concert in New Zealand where he played with Jan Hammer and a famous drummer whose name eludes me (ouch!). It was a fusion delight and featured his famous glissando - unforgettable.

Anyone else find it odd that Jeff was rolling along ok...then goes on tour with that kidsick hollyweird vamp poseur Johnny Depp and suddenly turns up dead? Jeff was a checkerboard lodge sacrifice.
