How do you get a job as a location scout? Is there any kind of training, internship or anything like that? Or school maybe? Or is it enough to start with, to have a desire for working with it? :)

This is going to sound like a stupid question.... So basically location scouts go to places for films and take photos of said locations that the directors/scriptwriters are looking for? I really want to do professional photography hopefully one day and a friend of mine told me about this.
