I want an updated video of Gaspar. It has been three years and I want to know how his life now. Did he graduate from high school? is he going to college? Just a small update on how his life is now.

I work four days a week as a dishwasher and go to university. I am getting a second job. I be working six days a week and studying at the same time. Whenever I get tired of my job, I think about how hard and tough life is for people in the same situation as jasper marcos, and this thought motivates me to keep going forward and to work harder.

Ehsan 87 I only hope that the "university" that you go to teaches you how to speak & of course write like you have some education, because the first 2 words of your 3rd sentence 1 of the words don't belong there. It just goes to show something that if I mentioned what I would be branded by libtards with their favorite word they like to call us whites

Lol you're literally a miserable sack of sh*t considering you have taken the time to comment some negative unsubstantiated BS on mostly positive comments. Instead of projecting your insecurities online, with your futile attempts to criticize and discredit this young man, why don't you instead - reevaluate your life and figure out why you're so miserable?

There are Hundreds of millions of kids like this all over the world that don't have the opportunity to just hop over the border and take advantage of America. People need to see the videos of those kids. We can't take care of everyone in the world. We have laws to make sure our country does not turn into where these kids are running from.

What I think is remarkable is the fact that Guatemala cannot offer the same opportunities as the US. It is horrible to see his struggle, to see him without his mother or father. I could never send my own child alone to another nation. He needs the support of his family and his homeland.

+TaTi Yak How do you know? The US is the greatest nation on Earth. But why do the millions of people who yearn to be a part of this nation deserve citizenship any more, or less, than this man? Indeed, America is the land of the free and we believe all deserve life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. But what is the cost? Millions of citizens pay taxes, enroll in selective service, and die for this country every day. It is for the benefit of this nation, not just one man or populations of those who cross illegally each day.
@tatiyak9947
@tatiyak9947 8 жыл бұрын
+armandogallegos2 I'm not going to argue with you about who deserves citizenship and who doesn't. This video is about this kid and his journey, you mentioned his family and I'm telling you he lost his parents when he was 5 y/o, you also mentioned his homeland, and you like it ir not, this is his country now. And because of the way he's living his life, I must say it breaks my heart watching him, too many LOSERS whit a green card doing nothing with their lives, living in projects, living on welfare, while this kid deserve everything! I hate immigration laws!
@armandogallegos2
@armandogallegos2 8 жыл бұрын
I see. In my honest opinion, I do think everyone deserves what we have, including this man. Immigration laws are what maintain the nation. They are put in place for immigrants in this country contribute fairly. It's why I mention those trying to get into this country, to see the difference between Guatemala and the US. We highlight this man's struggle but forget those that are trying to get by just as hard, citizens avoiding crime and paying taxes. We forget those who enlist in the military who can't find any other way to support themselves. I disagree with you on the point that people with green cards are losers. They followed the law to get a chance at citizenship. No one deserves everything. This land is by the people and for the people, not just for.
@tatiyak9947
@tatiyak9947 8 жыл бұрын
+armandogallegos2 Well, we're going to have to agree to disagree. I will always think that LOSERS (those who for years live in projects, abuse the system, don't even try to find a job or get an education) with a green card DON'T DESERVE TO HOLD ONE!, while people like this kid DOES! Millions of losers abusing the system, while millions of "undocumented" paying taxes to support those losers. NOT FAIR!

Nobody ever brings what I'm about to say up. I don't know why, but it's extremely important: why do people keep having kids if they don't have the means to take care of them?? I just don't get it. That's great that this kid is working hard and honestly to get ahead. But why as latinos can we not admit that we have an over population problem. Dang poor young man! My parents came the same way! It really sucks because they make it harder on themselves when they refuse to respect that I'm different. I'm fact they discriminate against me and my sister! That's why my aunt's have a strong hate towards their children especially their daughters! They make it impossible for us to succeed! They take all the benefits for themselves and are very greedy! They want the worse for their children and it's very upsetting that this issue hasn't been brought up in the government the constant abuse makes this kids that are born here struggle beyond belief!!

A need and a want to learn and work for survival and a better future. Don’t all kids need/want that? No. No they don’t. Comparing the average child citizen in USA to children like Gasper and his upbringing is illogical. I have and continue to work in homes around the United States of all income levels and see struggles at various levels but many times children and families can be and are linked to resources without needing to risk their life to flee to another state much less another country. Think about Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. Think about how we begin connecting to the world and learning from our family/caregivers at birth. People like Gasper are still learning to trust their physiological needs are going to be met by someone/somewhere. This survival instinct is embedded in all of us. The city I live in has help wanted signs posted everywhere and although there’s a surplus because of covid effects and other factors, there are always help wanted signs in my city and other cities year round. Our system needs improvement but this is just one element and I know many of us want to see people being able to access food, shelter, and safety. God Bless

Javier VL actually the only ones who benefit are them and their families that they send their money to. Americans don't benefit from suppressed wages, competition for jobs with illegals and taking money our of our economy and sending it to another country. Americans certainly don't benefit from Hospitals closing because of illegals either...

No offense but why don’t people in Guatemala and these other Latin countries band together and fight for their countries to be better like we did and are still doing here in America. Everyone can’t fit here in this one country.

It's not hate stating the truth. We don't owe these people anything. We owe our own people. All these people are other countries problems that we can't afford to take care of. We are $20 Trillion in Debt and taking care of these kids and allowing them to take away jobs that Americans should be working is causing us even more debt.

@@kyra_2596 He pays more in taxes in 1 year than you will make in your entire lifetime. You obviously have no clue about how running a business or taxes work if you think he don't pay anything. STFU.
