Great biographical history, Katie! I love to watch your videos because I feel connected since I'm from your neck of the woods. And now another connection - I moved from your area to near Raleigh! 😊 I always enjoy your videos - they're so well presented and you're so darned cute and have a such a pleasant voice. I look forward to the next one!

I have some family who moved to the Raleigh area, seems like a lot of people from the Rochester area end up in the Triangle!

I think you might be interested. There is a cemetery in Butler NY that I got permission to clean and fix the stones. I have to figure out a date to work on the stones since we have to get rid of all of the poison ivy first.

Oh man…I had a high school teacher in Tennessee named Willie Otey (also an African American woman). Wonder if there is any relation? Weirrrrd!

Possibly! Seems this family re-used first names a handful of times throughout the generations!

@@agraveattraction That would be so cool! Guess I’ve got some research to get onto! My husband and I have been assisting/researching for Find A Grave since 2005. Everyone has had a story! 😊 It’s such a fun and fulfilling hobby. I enjoy helping families find their ancestors’ final resting places. ❤️
