Later on in a 3v1 sukuna got almost KOed by a black flash from gojo and screamed for mahoraga’s help 🤣 Later on admitting that in order to be able to cut through inifity, only mahoraga can provide him a model of it to be able to evolve to the world cutting slash. Learning more on Japanese history now, and I can say that the connections that are made in this manga are amazing. Before I didn't know jack about Japanese history. I thought the JJK ending was garbage, damn I was wrong! The manga ties back to the Heian era and how Sukuna was in the womb and ate his twin sibling. Which lead him to become a curse, and during that period it's stated in the manga that he defeated prominent figures in the Fujiwara clan and Sugiwara, which are actual historical people from that era! I could go on about how Yuji is great protagonist because he's the literal body incarnate of Sukuna so he was cursed to be faited with fighting him one day or letting him control his body. Or maybe even point out the ties to Buddist values and symbolism with the techniques that the characters use. No wonder why this manga is popular in Japan its pretty clear that the author loves his history and the values like Buddism to to have been able to represent them as characters in a fictional story, it's just crazy imaginative. Anywas sorry for the essay! just wanted to share how learning more about a different culture can really change your perspective in a fictional story from another country.

For anyone curious as to why Sukuna looks like that, it is NOT because he is a curse or even a reincarnated sorcerer. He looked like that even before he was reincarnated and was a human his entire life (as far as we know, at least). Since Sukuna devoured his twin inside the womb, it is theorized that Sukuna was born deformed due to an extreme case of Chimerism. Chimerism happens when one embryo dies within a woman pregnant with twins and the other embryo absorbs the twin's cells. Chimerism results in deformities but most of these are limited to skin pigmentation and perhaps eye color. Then again, it could just be because Sukuna f**ked with his own body using cursed energy or whatever.
