So, fathers seem to be pretty important. Wouldn't it be terrible for a child grow up without a father? Actually, it would be catastrophic since it is upon the mother that the child is dependent for survival for the 10 months before birth but for more than 10 years after birth the child's survival is dependent upon the father. If it weren't for Joseph, Jesus' father, the Christ child would've been killed as a infant. Blessed Feast of Fathers, Blessed feast of St Joseph
