There is a beautiful and prayerful hymn to St. Joseph that we pray everyday within our community. One of the lines of this hymn reads: O blessed Saint Joseph, how great was thy worth, The one chosen shadow of God upon earth,The father of Jesus! Ah, then, wilt thou be, Sweet spouse of our Lady! a father to me? On this Fathers Day in the secular calendar, may we see good St. Joseph as both a true example of holy masculinity, as well as a real Father to us. It is interesting to note that Fathers Day in Italy is always celebrated on March 19th. This is because Father’s Day in Italy coincides with the Festa di San Giuseppe - or the Catholic feast day in honor of St. Joseph. The day is now also known as festa del papa where fatherhood in general is honored. As many of you might know, Pope Francis announced the Year of Saint Joseph, in honor of the 150th anniversary of the saint’s proclamation as patron of the Universal Church. The Year of St Joseph began on December 8, 2020 and concludes on December 8, 2021.

How do we know St. Joseph's body has been assumed into heaven? Where is the information on this? I am interested in finding out. I believe His body is somewhere on earth yet to be discovered. St. Joseph pray for us!
