James is 6"4" and used the large/xl extended. It is likely you will need the l/xl too but probably on the lower setting. Best if you send your back length rather than height or check the osprey page for fitting instructions. Measure from your hip bone to the top of your shoulders Nd we could take look. Obviously always best to try them on if you get chance . Hope this helps

Hi, I got a question here: I bought myself the Bergans Helium V5 55l which is also very ultralight (978 gr) and comfortable - Unfortunately, the backpack squeaks a lot due to the material and carrying system, especially when it is loaded with more than 12 kg. This is really annoying when hiking because it is so loud that you can sometimes no longer hear the birds. Do you have any similar experience with the Osprey?

Oh that must be annoying, shame not to hear the birds! No we have had no squeaking issues with the Osprey. The frame to very comfy and quiet!
