@@HENNY_22 yeah. the back helm piece has long fronds poking out, so it could be that this is probably some kind of ancient old republic sith/jedi suit of ceremonial battle armour, meaning its likely very old and expensive, but also incredibly durable since it likely empolys rare and valuable minerals like cortosis, beskar, or phrink alloy, giving it a good chance of resisting blaster fire and lightsabers. though its also possible its more a ceremonial piece, used for pomp and ceremony more than war.

I just subscribed, for 3 reasons. Your knowledge of Star Wars. Your mild., laid back style of presentation, and the fact you don't edit out the pauses in your speech. I dislike the modern style of editing out every pause to take a breath so it sounds like one 10 minute long sentence. It's exhausting to me to listen to someone talk and they never take a breath. You leave that all in and it's much easier for me to listen to.

It was hilarious and yet also heart breaking since we know he lost a lot of good men (and possibly friends). Maybe the sergeant will switch sides and fight for the Rebellion since the Empire isn't concerned with the safety and security of their citizens - even those that believe they fight to keep peace and order. I hope they set up some arch for him and don't just discard him because he's a very cool character that is maybe a bit one-tracked yet he's got strong conviction and very professional; definitively not a type you want as an enemy, but the type a Rebellion need to fight an actual war.

I think Mothma’s husband is in cahoots with the empire against her. Aside from being friends with some of Palpatine’s closest people, he also already knew that she bought him a gift. At this point that should only be known by her and her driver, whom was determined to be a spy earlier in the episode.

I love the details in this show so much. The slower pace is so refreshing. We have time to absorb everything and start putting together small pieces to a larger puzzle. I've always been a fan of the slow-burn series. By the time we get to big action scenes, I'm heavily invested in the story and the characters. Mon Mothma's importance as the leader of the rebellion is understated in the OT, so I'm happy we get to see more of her. She always reminded me of Julie Andrews. When I was a kid, I thought the actress playing Mon Mothma was Julie Andrews. I'm not the best at facial recognition, guys. :) I always assumed she was named Mon Mothma because of the shade of off-white she wears (moth wings colored), and that she's tall and slim and probably lightweight ...again, like a moth.

The kyber crystal is a living thing and the reason it turns red is from all of the grief that it goes through being used to channel Sith powers. The reason the scene with the ship was so significant to me was because the laser coming out of his ship was red which means it's kind of hard to hide the fact that he's been doing things as a Sith.

I never thought those were "lightsaber" weapons on the Haulcraft... they're just high-powered lasers, but that doesn't invalidate that they could also be powered by khyber crystals. They could even be turbolasers with the aperture set wide open: capital-grade weapons on a starfighter-scaled craft would almost certainly slice through an unsuspecting, unshielded TIE Fighter like butter. Would also explain why he didn't try to use it on the Arrestor-class cruiser, which would likely be shielded... though it could also be because his weapon settings and power requirements only allow a certain number of uses before needing replaced/overhauled

Netflix is right to release the entire show at one time. If a show is going to be released on streaming but not network television then it should drop as a full bingable season or at minimum 3-4 episode chunks each week (and be 12-13 episodes in total). I almost always find myself waiting til the end of the run on weekly releases and watching the whole season straight through.

11:30 my feelings exactly! It's definitely a slow burn but not boring. In fact the show is very engaging but it's definitely structured in a "bingable" way. I think that's largely because it's a lot more character driven (instead of plot) and serialized. Unlike the Mandalorian, it's not made so each episode could be a movie, but the whole series is a movie, but not necessarily like Kenobi where it's one stretched out story with a lot of problems. I might just wait until the season's over before watching the show on my own pace.

During that airport/landing terminal scene, if you take a look at the bottom right of the screen, you see some officer or trooper wearing the same type of helmet as the Tantive IV helmet from A New Hope and Rogue One. This helmet is tan here, instead of white and black.

Release schedules are kind of a double edged sword so to speak. On one hand, I kinda like being able to binge a season/series in one sitting but I feel cheated somewhat after. On the other, I do like the one per week format but it leaves me craving more. And yet there's the third option I've seen Netflix do a few times where they release a big chunk at once, but then there's a significant period of time before the next big drop. Lookin at you, JoJo Stone Ocean... I think a nice compromise would be to do a multi episode drop that contains a story arc every week. Let's say a 3-4 episode drop, maybe 2 if it's a shorter series. Obviously this would change depending on the property and how the story is structured, how many total episodes there are, etc. But I feel like this would be a great middle ground.
