9:12 The problem with it is that with Clone Wars the clones are actual people who bond with their jedi commanders, also it creates too much leaks where Order 66 can go to jedi ears.

It might be interesting if the quote "You can't go home again" applies to this show. If the kids manage to return home they will find that they are changed and can not go back to life as it was on their home planet. They are now incapable of fitting in what is the Star Wars version of The Village from the old TV show "The Prisoner." By the time they get home their minds will be much different and some may even have PTSD from the things they saw and did on their journey. They can never go back to life as it was. They know that there is a wider universe and it is often brutish and violent. They know that their utopia is deceitful. It would be hard to just going back to a life of being clerks and not seeing their society for the straitjacket that it is. Maybe some of them will prefer that utopian planet and do all they can to try to adapt back to it perhaps even going to great lengths mentally and emotionally to do so, but others might find it intolerable to compromise. It Makes me think of a Heinlein novel called "Tunnel in the Sky" where a bunch of teens/young adults end up stuck on a world with no civilization in what was supposed to be a short survival skills exercise. Instead they end up stuck there for several years and kind of have to scratch build their own civilization on an alien world that they have limited knowledge of. Such an experience changes them radically and when they finally do return home they don't fit in.

The question now is. When exactly were At Attin’s sister planets destroyed? Have they been in ruins since relatively recently? Did they get destroyed during the Galactic Civil War (1 BBY) or the Clone Wars (22 BBY-19 BBY)? Or have they been in ruins since the Great Galactic War (3954 BBY) or maybe even the Great Hyperspace War (5000 BBY)?

I don't think the Empire would be so fearsome and undefeated in space battles. The CIS was always innovativing new weapons and vehicles or ships. Saying the CIS wouldn't develop an answer to the ISD because they're so rigid in design and use weaponized cargo freighters is false. We've seen the CIS create new ships, tanks, and droids. I feel like the CIS would struggle at first with the Empire due to their navy but super tactical droids and other generals would come up with new tactics to face the Empire to but time for the CIS to come up with new answers to the Empire. sending out commando droid squads for infiltration and sabotage missions are critically damaging to the Empire as they couldn't really answer the rebels tactics with that. We have to remember that the CIS would've won overwhelmingly against the republic had they not been held back and if we're talking an off the leash CIS then the Empire is on borrowed time

And why didn’t they kill Han off like Hevy in the clone wars setting off the detonators manually while holding off Stormtroopers instead of the sappy shit they did?? Han ain’t a sappy character, he’s a badass, give him a badass death

Even at a mere 300 million credits, it's still a fairly questionable investment. A Y-wing is 135 000, and I feel fairly confident that a fleet of 2000 Y-wings (or let's do a 50/50 split between Y-wings and X-wings if you prefer - an X-wing is 150 000) would take down any ISD even with very green pilots.

I love the x wing family, its my favorite fighter in the sci fi world. From the Z95 to the T85. I really hope we get to see more of the T70 in upcoming movies and shows. As well as the T85, which would most likely be used by the new republic 5th fleet with nebulas and endurances.

For me the X-Wing the T-65B will always be my favorite, the T-70 variant is pretty slick but the wing design it got after Episode 7 it very awkward. From a perspective view the X-Wing the T-65B it's kinda like an F/A-18C Hornet and the T-70 it's the F/A-18F Super Hornet.

FORESHADOWING - the pirate droid ALREADY disabled life support, and now that it's both a threat to the crew's lives AND necessary to keep their ship operational, ya gotta think that the little exchange (when Jod told the pirate droid to turn life-support back on previously) was actually foreshadowing for part of the crisis currently developing between the human crew and the pirate droid. Imho Can't wait for next episode😊.

The ship is called the Onyx Cinder. They’re not gonna use operation cinder as part of the show. I’m guessing they’re attack satellites from the star forge. These would not be imperial worlds because of how xenophobic Palpatine was. He wanted humans to be in control and all other species in the galaxy to be lesser people so why would he let them have the same exact living conditions, resources, and privileges as the human people know I think something much much darker is going on

Maybe this planet was a test bed for new military equipment. It's a planet outside of the rest of the galaxy, out of site out of mind. The Rebels probably heard about a new weapon (the satellites for cinder) and the Empire decided the planet that designed the weaponized satellites, was perfect for a test ground for the satellites.

I want to like the T-70 but I am just unable to get behind the split intake for the engines. I know it is a call back to the original concept art but oh, if they had just not put the appearance of having a compressor turbine right at the front of the engine nacelles... something that splits when the S-Foils, it is the appearance of having that compressor turbine that just is bordering on infuriating when looking at it. Why make something look like turbine blades if they are not turbine blades? The T-80 intake design, if it was applied to the T-70 frame would have created the perfect evolution of the fighter's design.

I really doubt it was the empire that destroyed that and all the other jewels of the republic. I do think they were destroyed with satellites similar to the operation cinder ones but more likely these were the precursor to the empires ones. My main reason is the planets are obviously from the old republic not the galactic republic or even high republic (there’s a lot of republics). But they were obviously from the old republic, and were destroyed during the old republics rain. Probably by the “sith empire” during that war, since that was the last time the republic was truly at war besides the clone wars. And their enemies had the power to do such destruction at least in legends. The planets purposes is obviously just a central treasury/gold backing for the republic currency. And went completely off the radar in attempt to hide itself after the other jewels were destroyed. But that’s just a theory…
@Snapple26513 сағат бұрын
Actually maybe it wasn’t destroyed during the old republic since the modern galactic republics symbol is on their currency……. Well at very least before the clone wars probably during the high republic bc I think they had the same symbol. The modern galactic republic symbol did exist for like 1000 years or something so…

yea when it comes to the last trilogy, the T70 is the big nut the blind squirrel finds. basic Tie fighter i like to compare to the A6M Zero. High firepower for the frame, easy maintenance, reliable, cheap to produce, very high maneuverability and speed, but no armor or defense mechanisms. Yes i am aware that the Zero had other roles to play than Fleet defense interceptor. In fact was the fighter with the longest range of any other fighter in WW2, but on the short range Fleet defense role the two are very similar in design and use. well maybe the Empire's experienced pilots were smart enough to learn from their own history not go wave hopping or the space equivalent (if there is one) and leave the fleet undefended, but that's a command and control issue not a hardware issue...

An almost scary level of authoritative-sounding apologia Every successive generation of writers, directors and designers wants to put their own spin on the franchise, not to mention fans and their theories. If you consider how far Lucas himself changed the narrative from A New Hope, making it up as he went, it seems such a rich and verdant universe. It still doesn't excuse the Abrams /Disney abominations that should not be considered canon. While this is fun, I'm not sure THIS is warranted either if the attempt is to make a singular definitive narrative. It robs future nerds of their need to play in its waters.

Like so many things in Star Wars (and it just keeps getting worse as the property ages) The X-Wing and TIE Fighter look super cool, and we're told they're great, but they're actually terribly impractical designs. Each has flaws, but the X-Wing is the worst of the pair with features that would make the craft hopelessly unreliable, and even dangerous to fly, and a configuration which gets in the way of its intended purpose as a superiority fighter. The T-70 does not address any of it's problems, it just looks slightly different. Many of the X-Wing's issues come from the very feature that make the X-Wing, the X-Wing. There's a lot of fanboy justification for what S-Foils are supposed to be for. I'll tell you this, they aren't wings. They are not aerofoils, but flat chunky planks of metal that do nothing for the ship in atmosphere but add weight. If they were aerofoils they wouldn't be able to seamlessly close like that, and their function would be impeded in that closed "Flight" position. These silly planks don't help the ship fly they just make it bigger, but it gets worse. It seems like Incom thought their S-foil design was so cool, they just had to have everything that was important for a fighter of this kind on the wings. You touched on the stresses the delicate S-Foils are put under in flight, but that's an understatement. The crafts engines are directly acting on the actuator which holds the S-Foils on. Lots of planes have their engines mounted in the wings, but those wings are cantilever mounted in a fixed position. If you tried Skywalker's shot-gun manoeuvre without space wizard powers, the wings would just sheer clean off. Then we get into armament. The X-Wing has four main guns mounted, once again on the tips of the bantha-humping wings, as far away from the pilot as Incom could place them, with enough space in between for entire fighters to hide. Also, when the S-Foils are in "Attack" position there's now vertical distance from the pilot, so you have to do trigonometry to figure out if you can even hit anything with your next shot. Fanboys and the silly books they write claim these guns are gimbaled, but that's just one more delicate and complex part to break down. The proton torpedo magazine is right under the pilot's butt. Finally we have a component that would make sense to suspend out away from the craft in order to protect the pilot and where does Incom put them? And if the torpedo launchers are there, it speaks volumes on how much shielding that mag could possibly have in that narrow fuselage. Oh and the canape folds flush with the fuselage for no reason. The pilot has very little visibility in front or behind. The TIE is worse for visibility, but you're still blind in an X-Wing. The TIE has it's own problems. Tunnel vision cockpit, goofy Solar panels that can't possibly be collecting enough energy to make a meaningful dent in the energy needs of a ship like this, the huge profile they have on a fighter that is meant to present a small target, inability to land anywhere but on a specialized carrier, but overall I'd rather have the TIE. At least you can shoot straight and see well enough in front of you for a dog-fight, and you're not sitting on bombs! Still, I'd really prefer a Starfury, or a Colonial Viper over either of these ships.
